Just to play devils advocate, one bad game out of an entire season doesn’t define a team. If that was the case, Ohio state shouldn’t have beaten Oregon or even Tennessee. I think Texas will keep it close but simply bc they have the athletes

Check Ohio state vs Michigan earlier this year..you never know who will show up and who won’t. The word “upset” is used for a reason..

Amazing athlete, prob one of the best athletes to play the game so far. 

MVP is an award that is based on perception and hypotheticals and where the bottom line changes annually:

1. Stats- do the best overall stats matter most? Advanced stats? Team record? What exactly is the defining measure?

2. hypotheticals - what if he was on another team? Would he still be performing at the same level? What if someone else was in his position? Would they perform even better? Lots of scenarios that didn’t happen always seem to factor in somehow 

3. bottom line - is for the best player OVERALL? Or the best player on the best team? Or is for a player that isn’t the best but is the glue that holds a team together? Does PAST performance matter? Or does only this years matter? This changes every year it seems based on who’s the perceived front runner..

It’s not clear on what you were referring to originally when you said 0-2. 

Even now, when you clarified “the spreads”, which ones? Full game? Half? Because if it’s all spreads, he’s 1-1 right now. 

And what he picks doesn’t influence the outcome of the game. This is gambling. We all just guessing

After reading a real dumb post, it got me thinking. Who do you guys think was the best ATHLETE to ever suit up for the NFL? Not like the greatest player ever or whatever. Obviously there’s going to be bias because you only get to see who was playing during a set period of time.  For me, Julius Peppers was the dude..freakish athlete esp during those mid 2000s panthers days

In general, a play is called with a check and based on what you see from the defense, you call one or the other. It’s possible that they just didn’t get the right look on defense, or the QB made the wrong check. With no time outs left, Milroe just tried to be an athlete
