Second last in the table the newly promoted Rayo Vallecano travel to Real Sociedad on the back of being destroyed at home 5-1 by Alaves. Sociedad won their last game away to Huesca. All the numbers are in the right place (1738-1593 ELO/ 201-51 TM/ 9-4 S&YInt.) for a big win for the home side who are playing only their second home game this season.

Schalke have had a poor start to the season but the gap in quality here cant be ignored. Schalke are in the Champions League and have a side worth three times over the likes of Freiburg. Last season Schalke won both head to head matches 1-0 & 2-0 both home and away. Frieburg are my pick to be relegated so I fancy Schalke to get their first win of the new season.

I rarely jump upon line movements but I believe these odds are unwarranted. Monaco line opened at 1.37/-270. They are playing at home to Angers a team they beat the last 4 times they met 4-0, 1-0 , 1-0 and 2-1 both home and away. Angers just like Monaco have injuries I just don't fancy them on the road.

Lyon are undefeated in their past 3 beating the likes of Manchester City away and Marseille at home. Dijon are winless in their past 3 losing 2 straight home games to Caen and Angers. The last head to head meeting in Dijon Lyon won 5-2 back in April.

The last 5 games head to head between these 2 sides have ended in draws. The probability of a sixth is rare. Both sides sit on 7 points in the table with a +1 goal differential. Home advantage wins it for me as Mainz won both of their home games this season and Wolsburg come into the match winless in the past 2 games at home.

In the last 13 away games Celta manages to win only once. The last 2 trips to Valencia they lost 2-1 & 3-1. Celtas captain Mallo is injured. The numbers are good 424-170 in transfer value and 1776-1728 in Elo Rank for the home side. I also considered -1 but just a bit over plus money it was not worth it.

No team has cost me more than Monaco this season so I'm fading them today especially with a Champions League meeting they have coming up next. Monaco are winless in their past 7 and sit 18th in the table. The home side St Etienne are in 6th spot and have won their last 2 games.

Man U has been suspect this season in league action + they have a champions league game coming up versus Valencia on Tuesday. The home side west Hame are unbeaten in the past 3 V Everton away Chelsea at home plus an 8-0 destruction of Macclesfield Town in the league cup pplay mid week. Man U lost to Derby mid week at home & prior to that only managed a draw at home to Wolves. Backing the hammers at a very nice price.

I have to back the in form away side in this matchup. Stuttgart are second last in the table without a win this season facing 4th in the table and undefeated so far this season Bremen. I had the match pegged at 2.00/+100 for the away side so any price better than plus money is value in my books.

I do not see Wolfsburg dropping back to back home games aspecially to a team that has yet to win away this season. The last time Borussia played in Wolfburg last season they lost 3-0. I see the odds here as value to back the better home side.

I was waiting to see the lineups before I put anything on this game. The visitors are dessimated with injuries with Contento, Fink, Froese, Wiesner, Barkok,Hoffann and Raman all out and injured. It looks like a 4-5-1 formation that Dusseldorf will emloy which is odd as they usually do not play with a single man up on top. I think Nurnberg will take advantage.

I am fading the away side Guingamp who are bottom of the table winless this season with only a single point. They have the worst goal differential of -13 in the league. Angers are coming off a mid week victory away to Monaco and have an extra day of rest as Guigamp just played on Wednesday. Even money seems like a gift for a team that is undefeated in the past 4 only allowed 1 goal against.

We have only had 1 draw this round in the EPL and this is another contender for a level result. Both sides are struggling to start the season Cardiff in 19th hosting Burnley in 17th spot in the table. Head to head 4 of the past 5 meetings ended level.

Leganes are dead last in the table and getting too much love just because they beat Barcelona last time out at home. Leganes are also missing 2 left wingers Arnaiz & Szymanowski as well as CB Siovas. I like Betis to win at home where they only lost twice in the past 15 games.

I'm still expecting a return to the mean as last season 26% of games ended level in the EPL compared to 20% so far this season.I think we are going to see a bunch of draws this round as there are plenty of close games on tap. The first one of which being Brighton 15th in the table -5 GD hosting 14th in the table -4 GD West Ham.

La Liga averaged 2.69 goals per game last season & 2.94 gpg. the season before that. This season it averages 2.51. The two teams in this match up average 3.00 for the home side and 2.71 for the visitors. Form wise both have had 3 of their past 5 go over. The other reason I like the total to go over here is because of who is missing. Diego Llorente arguably Real Sociedads best Defender & Martinez also Athletics best defender. Lets add to that 1st choice keeper for Bilbao is injured as well as another star defender Theo Hernandez for Real Sociedad
