Ecuador Honduras - Ecuador are a shorter price than France and make less appeal, both of these wont be going to the KO stages and the side and totals dont appeal. I will play Over 40.5 on cards, so 5 yellows or a red and 2 yellows cash. The way Honduras were tackling the French, this could come in at Half time!

Does a straight red count for 3 cards?

swoop, central, how it works is you get 10 points for a yellow, 25 for a red, if the same player gets 2 cards and obviously gets sent off, thats 35 right there , when I saw a number in the 40's, I had to jump on it.
thanks beer, I'll need to check that out, Oldman
doc, agree, no point chasing when there's a very good chance of a return in the offing already

Argentina Iran - If you have a spare 700k lying around and you want to pick up a cool 100k, you shouldn't have to sweat much here.
I dont give Iran any sort of chance here, when the handicaps get to -2.5 and above, I go for correct score and win/scorer picks.
Argentina 4-0 at 8/1 and 5-0 at 14-1 are plays I will do.
Messi to score 2 at 8/5 looks good as does Aguero to score/Argentina win at 8/11 and/or Higuain/Argentina win at evens but I would only bet that if they start.
Germany Ghana - Germany have only won 1 2nd group stage game since 1994, similar to Italy and while I expect them to beat Ghana, I think this could be similar to the 1-0 game Germany beat Ghana by 4 years ago. Ghana were very impressive in African qualifying and dominated the US game after they went a goal down, they were unlucky to lose, they have only actually conceded 6 goals in their last 5 world cup games.
I'm going against the grain here and like the Under 3 and Ghana +1.5.
Bosnia Nigeria - I like Bosnia here a lot, they were never going to get much out of their game against Argentina even though they actually outshot them but like Croatia, they have great technical ability. Nigeria haven't won a world cup game since 1998 and in Dzeko, Pjanic and Besic have the quality to win this with something to spare, Bosnia at 10/11

Profitable day with Belgium winning late and US not losing, gutting to see them snatch a draw from the jaws of victory but "we" ( I'm dual so I can sorta do that) would have taken that result this morning, after 5 mins, at HT etc.
3rd group round matches tomorrow, bring on the "scenarios".
Will post previews soon

Brazil Cameroon - The Africans are a mess, players fighting each other at the end of the last game, their best player suspended after a ludicrous sending off, big row over win bonus payments before they even got here and of course they're not going to win any match.
Brazil need to win to get top place and they will win handsomely here, I'm not going to mess about with correct scores and the like because this could be 5-1 or something, Brazil -2.5
Croatia Mexico - fascinating clash and this is a real pick-em, the way Olic, Modric and Mandzukic combined in the last game, El Tri could have their hands full but then again, not a lot gets past Ochoa. And you can't ignore how well the other central and south americans teams are doing in this tournament, mexico will have the support, it will be like a home game. I won't be playing in this as I have a nice exacta on Brazil and Mexico advancing, no need to be greedy.
Group B and Australia Spain is a very hard match to price up. IF Cahill was playing, I would have had a bet on Australia winning at 7-1 but he's suspended and their main source of goals but this will be like a 3rd place game, there's little to play for apart from pride, no need to play defensive, I think the Over 3 is worth a play.
Netherlands Chile - the Dutch need a point to secure top place but Chile won't go down without a fight, there have been 11 goals in Holland's 2 group games, they do have RVP suspended but I dont see them curbing their offensive approach especially when Chile are the opposition. Over 2.5 here.

Bollox, I'm in 100% agreement with all 4 games today. On Brazil 1st half, and Chile / Netherlands over 2.5. Too tough to call the Croatia / Mexico game.
