Not sure where you think '2-4 goals' will come from for England. What Costa Rica coach said and what he did are two different things. He has a total of two players starting that didn't start vs Italy. One of them already saw playing time in substitute role.
This could be a high scoring affair, of course, but it's the same Costa Rica team that looked very good in the first two games. If anything, it's England who should concede a bunch... they have a pretty much brand new team, 8 players that didn't start Game 1 vs Uruguay.

Mugsy..... I understand your point. At the half I am totally disappointed in the England style and intensity of play. My play on the over and wagering on England's ability to score goals was based on Englands energy and propensity to play all out for 90 minutes to not be embarrassed.......well England better fly the second half or they should feel ashamed and embarrassed.....keep in mind my statement ...IS NOT.....based on no goals being scored and me being wrong as this is but one wager on my part....it is based on England's play.....or lack of talent....or intensity....
Still 45 minutes let's see if this ho hum match picks up a bit the second half.
I will be cheering everyone cashes more tickets than they lose.. Cheers Investinsports

England should have come out like Spain did and not want to be embarrassed and put some points on the board. Instead, they looked like everyone thought Spain would...ready to get back on the plane and go home. It truly is a disgrace, the effort they have shown this far.

WOW.......its been a long week away at the worst possible time. I have waited four long years for this World Cup only to be pulled away to help my brother take care of an ailing mom this past week and Im guessing for a time to come.
Its not far to me to even look at this stuff during this time and Im seeing a few others really kicking butt and winning and cashing tickets which is a good thing.
Im doing a quick follow up and closing of this thread as Play #1 that future regarding Japan was not a winner but I only lost -0.27 units (that is if my local did it right as he uses like 3 different off shore books).......Im not gonna look to see if he did it right.....Ha!!
My final WC total is and will be 8-4-1 +2.37 for $2,370...........so Im happy even tho I set a goal of +3.75 units or $3,750 which I knew I had a solid month to be right 4, 5, or 6 more times than I was wrong.......
I am happy with the plus money and althought the dollar value may not seem high to some folks, it is to me and thus I try to cash all the tickets I can of twist the odds and try to increase the chance of actually cashing tckets. So I made 13 plays and to the plus side where it counts and its meaningful.
I must enjoy the remaining games and all wagering for a few weeks but hope and need to get back to sports capping sooner than later.
Can you imagine me placing 150 wagers a month..........I think not........that will never happen as I GRIND out profits...
Too all ......keep cashing those tickets and enjoy the game!! A special salute to DJ, Barb, JimC, P66, Franz, KaiserW.........you all are top notch and I will be cheering you keep it rolling......Im somewhat enveavous that you can play so many and win so much.......but I know that is not me.......
