Van, been awhile hope you’re doing well.  

Question for you - what sites/resources do you use for advanced stats like xG? A lot of these things are not readily available, wondering what you use. 

I’m on Iran ML and Ecu/Sen Draw tomorrow using almost the exact same logic / analysis as you. Just like the longer odds.

 I believe van is on Senegal ML not the draw but I might be wrong since both are in the range of +200

He is… we both view the game similarly based on his write up that’s all I’m saying. 

Round 3, anything can happen. Ecuador is very tight defensively but Senegal will have nothing to lose. We’re both chasing “value” above +200… we’ll see what happens.

A good win by the USA, but can they score on a play not involving Pulisic ?  Both goals in the tournament have involved him.  The Dutch are obviously going to key in on him and be very physical w him.   How can't they be physical to try and slow him down.  That being said, I saw too many US hard dribbles that ended up out if bounds, or on the opponent's foot.  Also, shoot the damn ball when you're at the top of the box on occasion.   You're in a danger zone for the defense.  US  often times make too many passes when in the box.  

At the end of the day, I have to be happy they got to the KO round w this young nucleus.  It will make the build up to the 2024 WC here in North America all that more exciting.   But they aren't going much further here in 2022.
