Shat guys, did not realize the STL series was only a 2G series. Will count it as a 2G series loss on the record but it is not an official series nor a series that should count against the filtered series record. Sorry for the confusion.

been following you for a while and really enjoy the thread. I have several questions if thats ok and i apologize if you've already answered them and i missed it.
-First and i may have missed it, do you ever chase over/unders?
-2nd did you mean to play the cards series or would you have skipped if you realized it wasnt a 3 game series?
-3rd i know you said you do NBA, would you mind in a few words telling what the starting line is for that?
-Last have you used this in Hockey and if so does it work as good as baseball?
Sorry to throw them all out there at once, just had a minute to drop a line! Good luck!

I have searched pretty extensively but have not been able to find a good approach for this
-2nd did you mean to play the cards series or would you have skipped if you realized it wasnt a 3 game series?
I would have skipped it. There was a couple weeks at the beginning of the season where nearly all the series were 2G series. I backtested that subset and it was profitable. We played them and went 11-1. Otherwise I intended to skip them

I actually play a quarters chase. The odds of a team losing all 4qtrs is very low especially at home and in certain point spreads. I also run this on an aggressive labby. It can get very hairy with multiple games going simultaneously, short windows to get the plays in and update your lines. In the long run this means more series to make money with... There is another thread probably buried in the systems and strategies forum that explains it.
-Last have you used this in Hockey and if so does it work as good as baseball?
Have actually only been investing in sports for about a year. Spent a lot of time on the mlb, nba quarters, and halfs. I have not checked anything like this for hockey but it may be worth a look. I would probably only check it for homestands of 3 games or more

I am glad you asked me about hockey. Didn't really think about it before but I think we found ourselves a new system. Same rules on a 3G homestand looks very good. I only saw 2 losses for the whole season last year. I will make some spreadsheets for the last few seasons this weekend and post the numbers. We can run this through sept 15th then pick up on NHL in October if it all checks out!

Congrats on a very good MLB season. Question, I agree with your NBA quarter chase, but I have not been able to find a book that has lines on quarters once the game starts. Please let me know which book has those lines. thanks

41-0 for Eastern conf in 2009 (Potential NHL OG favorite chase)
Sounds Interensting ...I'll like to know more about it...I've never ever made a single bet on Hockey, but this could be a good system to start dancing on ice...

No prob! Thanks for the reponse! Hope hockey works for us! To the others that asked you questions, I just wanted to say that i don't think this would work in football at all!!! Still have to study day and day out to get an advantage there! college basketball iwould be nervous about to. I think it works here because there are no reall point spreads except for runline. Which i'm still torn on takn sometimes if juice is too high!

What about the Yankees, I guess they closed @ -150??
based on covers closing line they didnt make it. It is always tough with the series very close as I think they are still good plays but have to stick to the criteria....
