Locked in:
Tsitsipas -8 (-107)...2u
Thinking there will be a focused Tsitsi here to make up for the Kolar match grind,,,Ymer hasn't shown the weapons to be able to bother Tsitsi in the past, and this is typically the end of the road for the Swede in slams where he usually lays an egg...highly likely there's a 6-1 set in this match which is very helpful to cover 8 games.

I've never been as good at Under totals than Overs in tennis,,,just in case Ymer comes out and plays the set of his life, catches Tsitsi a bit tight or unsteady, the dog could win 76, and then get rolled 61 62 62...spread for me has typically faired much better over time...Ymer is obviously coming into this one with confidence, so that 1st set should be his best shot and should realize he's got nothing to lose but to go out there and go for his shots and play big aggressive tennis.
It's tennis, anything can happen,,,Kolar could've beat Tsitsi if he won a few more key points.

Pegula into the 2nd week, ranked highly in the world and not a single peep out of the USA media hype machine,,,wonder how much talk and commercials we would have shoved down our throats if this was Serena instead of Pegula...
Nice effort by Sabalenka eh? And he's supposed to be one of the best in the world
wTA is no better off or any different than the wNBA

And in what world is it okay for these players to just quit when they are losing,,,if they are not on the verge to be hospitalized, finish the match, stand there and go for broke...this is a phuccing gland slam,,,what a bunch of soft spineless marshmallows

True, but if they could just take off the family tree from the story and talk about the fact how remarkable her climb from nobody grinding on the challengers to where she is now...then throw in the fact she's a Pegula to show hard work and following a passion or dream is possible for anyone...even spoiled brat billionaires,,,which I'm not saying she is because I have no clue about her personal life...I respect her for everything she's done on the court and it's shameful her own country has ignored her...this is not about money or advertising or marketing,,,she'd probably donate it all to local charities if that type of money was coming her way...what she's currently doing in today's age of spoiled lazy millenials is very rare.
Hope she keeps winning.

@packersbackers
I agree wholeheartedly there. Tennis media and fans are odd to me however as those in that same mold such as Sakkari don’t garner praise.

Medvedev is playing well and 100/2000 is great but the odds are that for good reason but putting 25 to win 500 seems like fun. Nadal and Djokovic are playing very well and Alcaraz and the Greek are still there so I don't see Medvedev who lacks the killer instinct being in the Semi's. Med is very likeable but I've never seen any tennis player who has lost 2 finals behave in such a happy and joking manner. I tip my hat to him, nice guy.

@RayRayK
top half is Nadal Joker Alcaraz, bottom is empty.
The draw is wide open for the bottom half, as the 2 seed Med will only have to beat Tsitsi to get to the finals...then there's hedging opportunities in the finals if Med can win the first set.
It's purely a value future ticket imo

Mev today was a gift!
Who do you think have best chance to cover tomorrow Felix or Khachanov?
I personal think both will cover. But leaning just playing the Russian, maybe take the +8,5 in a double.
