And... he gets props for letting us know he truly does not own a yacht and has never slept with a supermodel.
I wonder if there are any other "holes" in his story? Just saying...
But non the less... he does get props for answering all the questions and spending so much time on them. Hell... If I had his money and knowledge... this is the last thing I would be doing!
Id be on my yacht with my supermodels.
Yes people will always question something about another person. BUT I can say that VAN has always had alot of knowledge and has always been up front. I dont question him and at the same time its none of my business. Its his life at the end of the day. So he can say and do anything he wants.
So I dont think people should look for holes in a story but instead take the knowledge he gave you and do what you want with it. Who cares what he has or dont have. I care about him helping others out and I think he has done that. If one person can gain something from this then the thread has worked. He spent alot of time doing this and its greatly appreciated

free and equal health care for all? Ask the Canadians how that works out... waiting 3 months to see a doctor for a sore throat Sounds all good and jolly free and equal health care for all... We live in a society where people who have a headache think they have a brain tumor... you would need a hospital on every street corner if every us citizen had free and equal health care... lets not forget the amount of doctors u would need... it would be a disaster
Im jumping out of order to address this only to cut it off at the pass...
I didnt post my answer to the question to start a political debate. Someone asked me a question, and I answered it honestly. I avoid political debates here, and recently decided to avoid religious ones too. I was honest in my answer, and I have very well thought out reasons for my answer.
If you feel differently, great - that is what makes the world go round - but not this thread.

How do you balance the demands of handicapping, watching games - presumably most in the evenings and weekends, and ensuring family doesn't feel second fiddle to a life of gambling?

Thanks for the responses Van!!! I agree with you about the birds and their perception of time, I just think its a cool thing to think about... because really, how do we know that time is the same for everything?
And of course you don't eat much sugar, you're not consumed by the culture around you. I'm sure you eat less than me, but I've cut back to almost nothing that is overly sugary --- and then I throw it all down the drain because I drink red bull, and I'm afraid of the sugar free. My question was more about if you knew that a pack of sugar is 2g to 4g... because I find this amazing!!!! Think about all that sugary shit that has like 60g of sugar in a generous portion... that could be 30 fucking packets of sugar. That's absurd. How could you possibly need that much sugar for say, a can of ginger ale. You don't have to answer this. Let me think of a new question....
Got one. Okay, got a few... so you don't work at all? Do you do the typical 'man jobs' around the house like cutting the grass or do you pay some kid to do it? Or do you pay a real lawn service to do it?! Do you have a lawn??
Does your wife have a job?
Scratch that, lets not get into your wife.
How do you keep yourself busy during the day? What time do you wake up? How much do you weigh? Are you what would be perceived as 'lazy' or what would be perceived as a 'hard worker'... or are you a 'smart worker' that stays somewhere in the middle? I recently graduated from college and I gotta say, if I spend 6 more fucking months without having a job to occupy most of my time I would have lost my mind. It was nice sleeping in all the time, my 'job' being to go sit in a classroom for about an hour and a half a day, and just getting high and trying to have some fun in between... but after a while its just miserable, your free time quickly turns into time spent wishing you had something better to do, while when you work yourself to death you appreciate the time off even if your not doing something great with your time. Would you agree?
Do you have a new dog since Van and Zack? I had a dog named Zack.... good dog. I think you and I should seriously get together if you are ever in PIttsburgh, I think it would be pretty interesting for both of us... you hang out with a young 'kid' who talks a little too much but has a decent head on his shoulders... I hang out with an older guy who is intelligent but doesn't know how to relax completely and try to get him to smoke some fine fine weed. Come on!

If you were stranded on a deserted island...most likely for the unforeseable future...forever maybe...and you could only take 1 of the following, what would you take
1. Book 2. Album (cd) 3. Photo 4. Personal item

1) DON'T EVER try to bullshit... bullshitters... they can see right through it.
2) DON'T EVER tell a lie in a gambling forum (like owning a yacht)... once you tell a lie... the rest of your life story will be hard to believe.
3) DON'T EVER try to bullshit... the bullshitters... they can see right through it.
I was around during the "vanzack owns a yacht and bangs super models" thread … aka "the thread that never ends".
Personally, I thought it was 'vaguely obvious' that most of what vanzack wrote within that thread was satire. He was serious enough to keep most people guessing, but I don't believe that he wrote anything in there without a smile on his face.

Anyone who could read post #69 in this thread, and the whole rest of the thread, and not get the joke...... I cant help you.
Epic, epic, epic. I was just getting into this thing called the general discussion at the time, and I remember thinking I'm glad I found it when I did because I had a feeling that thread was something special. Classic!
Here's a question: What is VaughnK/equalblueberries' latest alias?
