master van, this is all predicated on neteller being prevented from doing business with us based customers...definitely not determined yet...
Masterhoya - if this bill passes in the next hour it will determine that Neteller will have to make a decision on whether to thumb their nose at US business or not.
Omni Bank will not have a choice.

which, as you mentioned several times in this thread, allows 270 days of compliance.... in reality most online wagering will continue beyond the bowl games and the superbowl.....

The reason they won't legalize it is because Fritz needs to appeal to
the religious right for when he runs makes his presidential run.
That's all it is. One Senator with an agenda. That's the
thing that pisses me off. This fucking guy slipping this gambling
section into a defense bill.

that's not easy for everyone. cant just look in the phone book. I have no idea where any are.
Your missing the point, the point is that these stupid Republican bastards are just creating one more problem and not really solving anything. There will be a drastic rise in the number of local bookies, so what the hell have they solved? Now, we can use more law enforcement resources to catch new bookieswho will be created by laws like this to take sports bets, and less resources finding, oh say, terrorists that really want to kill Americans or something like that, but the Republican lies and propaganda will say they are keeping you safer, my ass. That is the real point of what I swrote.

Whether this bill passes is not really the point. To take away freedoms, they must be taken away slowly, in little steps passing seemingly almost harmless laws. This is just a first step to tread the water so to speak, by the Neo-Republicans who now run our country to take away freedoms. Freedoms like internet gambling, porn, ect... can not all be taken with wide sweeping tough laws, because enforcement mechinisms must be developed by passing little seemingly harmless laws at first, and by passing a little law like this at first that many Americans will probably get around, let's the Republicans see how the voters will really react in November, If the Republicans are voted out then this bullshit will stop, but if the Republicans are voted back into office in November then they will pass tougher laws with more bite to reduce the freedoms of average American citizens. One little step at a time, that is how you pass laws, see the publics reaction, and develop your enforcement mechanisms. If you want to save freedom in America. Give a Shout, Vote Republicans out.

They approved building a 700 mile long fence on the Mexican USA boarder --so answer this --Whos going to cut all those senaters grass now dumb assholes fucked themselves And again we all wonder, what the hell does this fence have to do with whether or not we make a responsible wager on a football game while we enjoy the entertainment on our TV? Can someone please tell me why these two laws should be passed on the same bill? Sarcasm, I mean, really, this is bullshit. I think most laws have to be passed in the Senate and in the House before being signed by the President, if I am not mistaken? ?

What cracks me up there is more important things than to cracked down on internet gambling. But that is the religious right in this country. Why does not America embrace internet gambling and collect tax dollars off it... No we are just too stupid for that...
This is just another example of why our goverment sucks! No one stands up for the majority of the people. Let me alone, let me do what I want...

Don't you understand? If you gamble over the internet, you're obviously a terrorist. This is just another one of the government's tools to fight terrorism. If you're sending money to a terrorist organiization fronting as an internet gambling company, they want to know about it.
Can everyone just please vote these a-holes out in November. Bill Frist is as corrupt as all of those bastards.
