For college football I would go check out Manifesto's thread as he is using 8 real good handicappers coming up with his picks.Last week they were 3-1 and the week b4 7-0.Also a couple of those picks matched mine so I raised the units on them.In the NFL I usually only have a couple of plays but will post them.I also like the insight of RobertoFlorys trends topic that I always look at every week.I am stil looking at tonights college games.

Collegegambler, I couldn't agree with your theory more. For this past week, week 8, I had Ravens -7.5, Mia + 1.5 and Saints over 46. I only bet $40 each game because I just started. I started with $80 and now have $230...peanuts compare to most of you in here.

In addition, I believe that if the home team is favored by -3.5, take the away team. Heck, take them straight up, always work. Do you agree?

I totally agree with college gamblers assessment of the games. It seems that all the games and lines that seem to be too good true are. Both in college and pro sports. I have seen so many games this year where teams that are 10-14 point favorites are even loosing the game outright, much less covering the point spread. Dallas at Washington -13 Dallas before all their injuries, (Washington wins game outright), then the next week washington -13 vs rams, (the Rames win outright) how about usc -20 or more beginning of the year vs was it oregon state?( usc looses outright) huge upsets all year, I just took UVA this weekend straight up beat G.TECH. GT was -14 I got paid 4.5 to 1 for not taking points and just taking UVA straight up, I think you should try to find some games like this to really pay off, when you get those type of odds you only have to be right 1 out of every 4-5 times to break even.

azzbrokerman , I really like what you are saying. The 7 pt teasers and 10pt teasershave killed me this year, couldn't understand it . Last year I did good with the teasers, if u do a teaser would you recommend a 7point teaser 2 team or 3 point 10pt teaser, the 10 pt teasers if u tie u loose.

Please stay away from teasers. Go over your teaser records as if you had bet each of those games just against the spread. There's a good probability that you would either be ahead more or have lost less. Teasers kill bankrolls.

One other thing to consider. When you see an 80% consensus, you can be pretty sure that there are no big money gamblers on that line. Its more of indicator of people staying away then a run of suckers taking a certain line.
