According to my own method for picking games I do believe the picks were Utah and the over, and they went 1-1. Furthermore, with the way tempo increased in the second quarter, I don't mind my second half over bet. It just didn't happen.
Now that I've had time to absorb it all I think 2-2 for the system is entirely fair, and not that awful either. I'll take a push or a loss any day. Just wish I'd actually wagered Utah second half instead of just posting it.

Honestly though CZECH, If the spurs over hit, imagine how this conversation goes differently? Everyone's attitude would be different towards you. You won't win them all, if you did you sure as hell wouldn't be on covers posting. I played the over and lost, big deal. I wasn't expecting a win. Usually win a thread gets too many people shit falls apart. I think you will be fine. You probably had 1 chance to win most of these people over. So maybe tomorrow things will work.

I have read enough of wayne allen roots books. 60% is an awesome percentage to be at regardless. Its all about average and staying alive to fight another day. I'm with you on this.

Guys on a happier note, I think this mem under may hit after all, and I'm sweating it for my Streak Survivor, going for W6.

When I like a dog to show up, especially against a good team that can score, I usually feel this is correlated to liking the over. So I already liked Utah, but everyone was scared of Utah including me, and so I started looking to the over instead.
Add to that the fact that everyone in the thread wanted to know about the total. No one wanted to know about Utah. The line went to 199.5 and I was nervous about it for some reason because I the point I made about the first 3 games going under.
Vegas might have known this was a dead line anyways, and head-faked us. That was the right line anyways, based on the previous lines, and they couldn't really put it anywhere else. That line went to 199.5 quickly but then STOPPED and sat there all day. Not exactly a true definition of progressional line movement. This was more like an adjusted move that I described earlier in the thread.
Anyways it was still directional and sat there all day so I bit on it, and that's fine. However late we also had members saying it dropped late, so really this alone could have disqualified it.
But then there was Utah sitting there staring us in the face. IT NEVER WAIVERED, not even late when you just know every dollar coming in late was on SA. You think any guys making last-minute bets at the counters in Vegas were taking Utah? No way.
This was a clear play on Utah. It met all 3 rules. There's no way they woulda lowered that line any more on that game considering what I just described. Utah was a sharp play all day. The total is what was suspect. We just missed that but the system showed us we just didn't see it.

I know you take pride in your system but one win/loss doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things. I just think you take it too personal and it really distract you today. You posted the plays so just count them all. Trust me, it will save you a lot of headaches.

When I started the #1 thread on Covers I created it for people to come and chill out and talk about the streaks and betting. We had people popping in talking about "how come you guys don't discuss strategies?" I was like we do. If you have something to contribute feel free to do so. My point is this.Somebody here said it right. If you keep taking this shit personal and pandering to the crowd they will never be satisfied. Don't feel pressured to make picks. The only reason I didn't post it was cuz I was a buster and didn't want to risk going 0-4 on the game. Everyone was more scared of Utah than the total, including me, and that was dumb of all of us. But the system DID indicate this play I just didn't take it.

Oh wow. Why bet on Memphis? EVERYONE bet on them and nobody thought of CP3 obviously. I also bet on the Spurs under the fact is Utah can't score and the Spurs are old and they obviously aren't trying to have a track meet especially in a game where they are going to win like 100%
