The road has one destination, getting to $100,000 bankroll by the end of next year's post-season (NBA), starting with $3,000.
The plan I posted originally was bet $200 a game, and double the bet size every time the bankroll doubles. At 60% accuracy, it takes around 103 games on average to double the BR.
As Yysmer pointed out earlier,
the EV on -110 games at 60% = 14.6% per game
So in reality, starting with a 15u bankroll, it takes roughly 103 games on average to double the bankroll.
So then you double down, and after another 103 games have doubled again. Then you do it again.
After 309 games, on average, you should be up to $24,000. Then we do it again 2 more times, and we're up to $96,000.
At this level we're betting $3200 per game, and living the good life. At 60% and 14.6% EV this = $467 per game profit. That means if you took one game a day, on average, you're making $3,270 a week, to sit on your ass and follow my plays.
This sound too good to be true? It's not, if you can achieve 60% consistently, and withstand the variance of working with a 15u bankroll in the beginning of each stage. Therein lies the challenge.
The reason I'm revising this plan is because I understand that as we move through the stages, the bankroll gets bigger and bigger, and thus harder to replace, should something go wrong. This is where variance can pop it's head up and fuck you hard. Even at 60% you can lose 10 in a row on a bad stretch.
So I'm gonna have to tweak the numbers some as we go down the line. But for the first level I'm comfortable with the 15u BR. We can decide to change that later.
