And you can thank Lewis for that under. That was SOME timeout as Dalton was driving for the third TD of the 4th. Amazing run for a loss and blocked punt after that ever-so-necessary timeout.
I suppose you could also thank Manziel for sucking worse than Colin Kaepernick with a broken right arm and torn acl.
But ... since the Phix is in the loop, I'm sure you weren't shitting bricks as most others with the under were.
Between Matty Ice forgetting pass while the center can't even figure out how to snap the ball without banking it off of his behind in the Big Easy, to Brady trying his DAMNDEST not to cover as he stuffed the ball up the middle for the final quarter and a half in Indy (which even required the D and ST finally catching on and looking like the Bad News Bears on the final kick and Luck's final drive), all by a team with a supposed axe to grind for the whole deflate gate scandal, to the most ridiculous of all this past Monday night as Carolina's D was just "Oh, so very too tired to pass rush after such an EXCRUCIATING performance for the first three and a half quarters" and the Indy receivers were so wide awake and fresh that they marched the field multiple times to cover the spread as they shook the coverage and pulled in pass after pass, while at the same time the Magnificent Newton and the Panther O all of the sudden caught the same "sleepy bug" that the D did, only to see both teams become miraculously revigorated and drive the field in over time as they each put up a FG, to every other lame-behind tackling effort and bad call, all too numerous to list, these games, especially the Primetime Games are starting to look a lot like the WWE.
To take it a step further, I'm not even sure Indy wasn't supposed to win that game outright on Monday Night. The ball that was intercepted was a ricochet off of the receiver. Too much of a gimme for Kuechly to play OOPSIE again as he did minutes earlier in the endzone. However, to correct this, Carolina was SO hungry now to go in for the win, that their O all of the sudden sputters again with three lame plays (which I even believe was a three and out). Not only did they sputter, I believe the final play or two even lost yardage. That set up the perfect 50-plus yard field goal miss by a kicker who had just missed an extra point earlier, which would have again left the Colts with great field position to go in for their own FG win. The only problem came when the kick wasn't pushed wide enough right and with the help of the wind found its way through the uprights.
So, while the Phix may have always been in, it's beginning to look real bad and real obvious. Eventually people are going to stop falling for the good ole "any given Sunday" BS which has always been the only way any of the ridiculousness has been able to be explained.
And yes, I gave Manziel way too much credit and pictured a better Cinderella performance from the princess, which would have me the OVER ... hence the rant, LOL.
