I have to ask the question that i am sure has been asked and answered in the previous 18 pages of jibber-jabber : how is this different than the plays in the other thread?
This is the GSE system, 3689-0 the past 5 years.

even at 10$ a "A" bet,i am over extending myself on 1 chase nevermind 4 ... but i believe columbos c,d, chase is more fitting to my bankroll and will get me a bit less than gse,and also i can do 2-3 c/d chases at a time. i love this thread .

Why are there so many morons on here? There is NO WAY IN HELL you would EVER bet $3,750 to win $100. NEVER!!! Why are so many of you so fricking incompetent? If you EVER bet $3,750, you will be WINNING EVERYTHING YOU ALREADY LOST, PLUS $100 (if that is your unit). Why do so many idiots keep stating this same BS? Why is it so hard for any of you to understand the simplicity of a chase system?
Sunshine is correct and you flwareagle are wrong.
let me give you an example. suppose your base unit is $100 and you are doing a 4 team chase, laying -150 on each one of the four games.
Game 1: risk $150 to win $100. - a loss results in balance of -$150
Game 2: risk $375 to win $250 (to win a unit of $100 and win back $150 of losses) - a loss results in total losses of -$525 (150 + 375)
Game 3: risk 937.50 to win $625 (to win a unit of $100 + the $525 of losses) - a loss here results in total losses of $1462.50 (937.50 + 525)
Game 4: risk $2343.75 to win $1562.50 (to win a unit of $100 + the $1462.50 in total losses) - a loss here results in total losses of $3906.25
THUS, using a base unit of $100, with a four game chase, laying -150 on all four games, results in a total loss of $3906.25 if you lose all four games
Its all about money management. using a chase system like this, you need have have good money management. Using a base unit of $100 means you need a bankroll of atleast $20,000. Using a base unit of $25, you need a bankroll of $5000.

those of us who chase understand all of this. But what guys like you don't understand is, using your example, if i win game 4 i'm up $100 in profit. After a game 4 win a flat bettors will still be down $350 in the hole.
Get it now?

lmao, yeah i get it, relax i wasnt attacking your special system.
The paragraph was in bold for the benefit of flwareagle who didnt get it. Notice my last paragraph where i talk about money management, which was the point of the paragraph. the absolute money lost or won is irrelavant. its about money management and that is especially important for a chase system. What ever your base unit it, make sure you have the bank roll to sustain a loss, otherwise its only a matter of time before you bust out.
and now just thinking about it even more, the fact that there are multiple plays at once, to have a $100 base unit, you need a bankroll of $40 K, just to be able to follow through on the D play without stressing yourself out and putting yourself at risk.
Has jeffthehat ever said what his base unit is or his bankroll size? Jeff is a smart guy and i am sure he has the ratio of unit size to bank roll figured out to optimize profits without putting your bank roll at risk.

Because when I do touts start using as thier own and selling and another guy is selling my rotation system now for a $124 a month.
yea I saw that Jeff, more like bookkeeping and tracking results, and selling it. Pathetic i tell ya, I would like to know but not to share. Only to see if I can tweak it with some math or even hedge out on large plays. To see if it is possible to increase win percentages and minimize plays. Maybe one day. I do wish you all the luck, too bad that it takes 6 games to make it perfect.
Would be really nice to have a perfect 3 game chase system over the period of time that you have back tested this one.
ATM I would really like to see these series close out early to get some bankrolls up so that they can sustain a bigger chase. It has been a bit brutal so far with 2 series going to the 3rd game.
good job jeffro

Well, obviously reading comprehension is not a skill of yours. Please help me out here. Please provide the quote where I was wrong. Please put it in bold. Maybe, you will see how moronic you are to state that I was wrong before you respond.
It is also obvious that you don't understand what d_opie posted. He was pointing out that YOU were wrong in stating that I was wrong in my post. I have been successfully playing chase systems for 4 years now (because I suck as a handicapper) and have posted a profit each season. Why? Because I ABSOLUTELY understand money management and have the discipline to follow whatever systems I am playing. I started out this year with a $4,000 bankroll and play $10 units. GTFOOH with this BS that I don't know what I am talking about.
Again, please provide the part of my post where I was wrong. You just regurgitated the same ole crap that all of the other morons have posted.

You will be pushed to a game 4, so simply post your ticket showing us that you risked 2343.75. That will garbage everyone up.

Please tell me that you really posted that in error. You were responding to a post where he used betting 2343.75 in the D bet to win $1,526....not $100 like morons such as yourself keep posting. That is so wrong and misleading that it is funny. Yet, I suspect that you are not sharp enough to understand the difference.
All bets are separate entities of each other....regardless of your method of making picks. Any bet you make either reduces your bankroll if you lose or increases your bankroll if you win. You keep stating that no one would bet $2343.75 to win $100. You are damn right because I have NEVER seen an MLB team that was a -2373 favorite (which is what the line would have to be to win what you state).
Say someone bets flat bets only. If you would bet $100 units in a chase system, then you have the bankroll to bet $1000 flat bets. Betting your way, 4 straight losses will lose you $4000. If you win your 4th bet, then you are still down (using your -150 example) $3500 after your win whereas a chase bettor using a SUCCESSFUL chase system would be UP $100 after the 4th game.
Let's see if you can comprehend.

Thanks for clearing that up. I'm not a fool after all eagle. You are.
Haha....no that just means that you are not the only fool on here. Let's see if you can quote JUST ONE sentence that I posted that was wrong. Just one please. If you do post a sentence, you have to state why it was wrong. This should be interesting.

Here is one more example to try to help those that just can't grasp it.
You people keep stating that you would never pay $3750 to win $100. Neither would any chase bettors. If you want to stand by that statement, then you must use this statement for flat bettors in the same example: The flat bettor would be betting $1,500 TO LOSE $3,500. See how ridiculous that statement is. You can't have it both ways. If you are going to talk about the NET result after 4 games for chase bettors, then you have to do the same for flat bettors. If you still can't see the difference, please refrain from wagering of any kind.

This thread is getting out of hand. For those who think they are 'schooling' some of us on bankroll management or chase systems, need to write a detailed article to be published elsewhere. Some of us actually understand bankroll management and chase systems and only want Jeff's plays.
I am pretty sure that those of us who have been betting for 20+ years have quite the 'handle' on $ management...and do not require your help. Thanks, but no thanks. Please let the thread be what it is intended to be, and that is for Jeff to post the plays.
For those who are too lazy to go through the thread and read up on the differing chase systems...please take the time to do so and quite mucking up the thread. TIA!
P.S. Sorry Jeff to interject, but I just want to see your plays and nothing else but kudos and handshakes.
