Hey Oz man, I think the entire Phx team including coaches have mailed it in. Not sure if they knew they were going to be locked into last 8th spot so just didn’t exert effort and will try to bring it in playoffs or they just want to lose out and start vacation early. They really haven’t beaten anyone of significance in months. They definitely don’t have the look of a team that wants to shock the world by being an 8 seed and making a huge run thru the playoffs they look more like a let’s lose 1st round and hit the beach type of squad to me. It’s interesting the dynamics that work in an all female league as opposed to the NBA. There are a lot of underlying motivations or lack thereof that can’t exist in the NBA where a player must perform for big cash whereas a WNBA player can pout or play poorly and there’s really no consequences as not many talented players in the wings that would take their spot. Imagine if Harden or Curry we’re going thru Taurasi shooting slump it’d be headline news but WNBA meh. Last 2 games for Phx should be interesting to see this play out. Keep up the great work Oz!
