Oneil Cruz is on a power surge lately, and I’ll dive into why he could go deep again tonight in my MLB player props revolving around the home run market.

Bobby Witt Jr and Cal Raleigh will also get some love in my MLB picks for April 24!

HR picks for April 24

Oneil Cruz (+325 at bet365)

Oneil Cruz is having a respectable campaign so far, slashing .247 in 22 games with six home runs. His power numbers have drastically improved over the last week, too. Cruz has gone deep four times in his last seven contests and left the yard on Wednesday against the Los Angeles Angels.

The Bucs face the Angels again tonight and send lefty Tyler Anderson to the hill. Cruz is 1-for-3 lifetime against him, and while he’s yet to smack a homer off a southpaw this season, that could change this evening. He’s swinging it well, and Anderson has allowed three long balls in only four starts.

Bobby Witt Jr. (+475 at bet365)

The only player who is going to give Aaron Judge a run for his money for MVP is Witt Jr. The Kansas City Royals' shortstop can do it all. He’s hitting .308 so far in 24 appearances, and although Witt has just two homers, there’s reason to believe he could leave the ballpark today.

Witt has enjoyed himself against the Rockies in his big league career with three homers in only 10 meetings with Colorado. He’s also batting .359 lifetime vs. them. Witt could make some noise.

Cal Raleigh (+475 at bet365)

The Seattle Mariners' offense is thriving early on, and Cal Raleigh is a big reason for it. He's tied for the MLB lead in home runs with nine while also hitting .234 with 16 RBI and 14 runs. Raleigh has gone deep four times in his last eight games as well.

The M’s finish up a series with the Boston Red Sox this afternoon, who will hand Garrett Crochet the ball. While he is nasty, Raleigh is 1-for-2 lifetime against him with a two-run homer. Five of his long balls have come on the road, and he’s slashing .298 away from T-Mobile Park.

Don’t be surprised if Raleigh connects on a Crochet offering in the finale today.

  1. Triston Casas, Boston Red Sox (+650)
  2. Bobby Witt Jr., Kansas City Royals (+400)
  3. Tyler Soderstrom, Athletics (+500)
