Harden is beginning to fit in nicely with his new teammates. He’s taken on the role of a facilitator and leads the Clippers with 5.9 assists. He’s dropped 26 dimes over his previous three contests, and the offense clicks with him dishing the ball.
Harden has been a willing passer throughout his career, but he isn’t afraid to go out and get his shots and buckets, either. He has averaged just 16 points per night since joining the Clippers but has exceeded that average in three of his previous five contests.
Harden takes nearly six triple attempts per game, and he's taken 31 attempts over his last five games while draining 50% or better from downtown in two of his previous three contests.
New Orleans has defended the 3-point line better than anyone else has thus far this season, but I like Harden to go Over 2.5 made three-pointers, which is being offered by FanDuel at +126 as of Friday afternoon.
Harden has attempted 17 triples during the previous two In-Season tourney matchups, and I expect him to come out firing tonight. Harden will love the challenge the Pelicans 3-point defense will provide, and we will love the plus-money return when it hits tonight.

This is a same-game parlay card I like. I’m expecting Harden to have a break-out game as a member of the Clippers tonight.
The Clips must win this one if they hope to advance in this special NBA in-season event. They are 4-1 this year at Crypto.com Arena, and Harden is beginning to find a role in the Clippers’ offensive scheme. New Orleans is 2-3 as the away side this season, and rather than take a chance on the 5-8-0 ATS Clippers covering the spread, I’ll grab the moneyline.
Finally, New Orleans plays fast, and while Los Angeles ranks 18th in pace of play, the quicker style will suit the Clippers, and we have enough possessions for this game to end Over the total. Both defenses have been good, but both groups have been lighting up the scoreboard lately, and 226 is too low for this one.

Pelicans vs Clippers spread and Over/Under analysis
Los Angeles was -300 on the moneyline, but money has come in on New Orleans at FanDuel, which has dropped the line -220. Risking $220 to win $100 isn’t a bad idea here. The Clippers win at home, and the Pelicans are just 2-3 as the away side.
FanDuel opened Los Angeles at -7.5 (-114). Once again, money came in on the Pels and drove the number to a more manageable -5.5 (-112). The Clips are 3-2-0 ATS at home, while the Pels are 2-2-1 ATS at the away side.
The total opened at 223.5, but the number has swelled to 226.5 at FanDuel. That’s a big move, but not unsurprising to me. The public and I like the scoring potential of this matchup, and with so many highly skilled, offensive-minded players, 226.5 may not be enough points.
