It’s a big Sunday in the NFL, but don’t sleep on today’s NBA odds with six games tipping off, including an L.A. double-header at Crypto.com Arena.
Even beyond the Clippers and Lakers, there’s no shortage of heavy-hitters in action today, with the Nuggets, Celtics, and Suns all on the schedule and tagged as favorites.
That means plenty of options in the NBA player props market too, and I’m choosing three veterans in my NBA picks to deliver as their teams look to improve their postseason seeding.

- Siakam Over 21.5 points (-105 at DraftKings)

NBA player props for January 21
Prop bet #1: PG keeps rolling
The Los Angeles Clippers have firmly pushed their way into the inner circle of title contenders, and the trade for James Harden seems to have fully unlocked their offense.
Both Paul George and Kawhi Leonard are getting easier buckets than ever before, and I’m grabbing George’s points prop for today’s clash with the Brooklyn Nets.
He’s taken his scoring up another notch in January, averaging 27.4 ppg, and he led the way with 38 points against the Oklahoma City Thunder last time out, including 18 in the fourth quarter.
The Clippers haven’t played since Tuesday, and I see PG being a focal point again here in an L.A. offense that’s scored more than 125 points in four of the past five contests.
The trends tell a strong story too. George has had 25+ points in four of his last five games, and he’s making almost 48% of his triples so far in 2024.
The Nets have tightened up defensively in their past few outings but this is still the same team that allowed 134 points against the lowly Trail Blazers earlier this month.
Paul George prop: Over 24.5 points (-105 at FanDuel)
Prop bet #2: Sizzling Siakam
Free from the constant trade speculation, Pascal Siakam is set for a monster second half of the season with the Indiana Pacers. He got off to a fast start with 21 points in his debut on Thursday, making nine of his 14 shots, and I expect those numbers to keep climbing as he gets comfortable next to Tyrese Haliburton.
Siakam rarely had enough space to operate in the paint with the Raptors’ lack of spacing, but Myles Turner’s ability to stretch the floor should open driving lanes — and I expect Spicy P to do damage.
While it’s going to take time for Siakam to get a full comfort level in this Indiana offense, I’m taking the Over on his points prop tonight against the Phoenix Suns.
Some of that stems from Haliburton’s ability to put baskets on a plate for his teammates, and the Suns aren’t exactly a defensive juggernaut. Phoenix has only held opponents under 110 points twice in its last six contests.
With his slightly diminished role in Toronto this year, it’s easy to forget that Siakam averaged 24 ppg last season. He’ll have every opportunity to return to that level of production in Indiana.
Pascal Siakam prop: Over 21.5 points (-105 at DraftKings)
Prop bet #3: Backing Bam
I expect the Miami Heat to hit back tonight after two straight losses, including a gut-punch defeat to the Hawks on Friday, and I see Bam Adebayo leading the way.
Adebayo is coming off a couple of quieter games on the boards, so this rebounds + assists line has dropped to 14.5 (it was 16.5 on Friday) and I love the Over for a player who’s pivotal for the Heat on both ends of the floor.
Bam had 20 boards earlier in the week against the Nets and he’s had 6+ assists in three of his past five outings, so I’m not swayed by his numbers being slightly lower in his last two games.
He’s averaging 10.5 rpg this season, so he could get most of the way there in that category alone, and he finished with 11 rebounds and seven assists against the Magic earlier this month.
With Wendell Carter Jr., Orlando’s best rebounder, coming off the bench, and Goga Bitadze unlikely to match Adebayo’s athleticism, this Southeast Division clash is set up nicely for the Miami center to dominate.
Bam Adebayo prop: Over 14.5 rebounds + assists (-125 at bet365)
