It's a lighter schedule in the NBA with only five games on the slate — highlighted by Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors hosting the Philadelphia 76ers — and I have searched through the NBA odds to find you a bet for that matchup.
Is Joel Embiid set to suit up? That's the question a lot of bettors will be wondering about all day as it'll impact their handicap for the game, but Embiid is also getting dangerously close to not being eligible to win the NBA MVP.
While the focus will be on Curry and Embiid tonight, I have my eyes on another Warrior.
Let's take a closer look at the three NBA player props I'm backing in my free NBA picks for January 30.

NBA player props for January 30
Prop bet #1: Wiggins gone wild
There was a stretch this season — a very long one — during which Andrew Wiggins was borderline unplayable for the Golden State Warriors, and rumors were circulating they were ready to move on from him.
Don't let this narrative and perception from earlier in the season stop you from betting on Andrew Wiggins' odds because the Warriors have found a way to unlock him with a lineup change.
Golden State moved Draymond Green to the center position and is now starting Wiggins and Jonathan Kuminga in the frontcourt alongside Green. Playing alongside the playmaking skills of Draymond and the scoring of Kuminga is leading to Wiggins getting wide-open jump shots or the ability to attack a rotating defense off the catch.
Wiggins' minutes were also never a guarantee when he was struggling, but they have settled down into more of a number that we can project for his points total. He's played 29+ minutes in six straight games and just played 41 in the double-overtime game against the Lakers on Saturday.
The consistent minutes Wiggins is seeing of late are a big factor here because it was hard to attack his falling totals in the past without knowing how much he might play on a given night.
Wiggins is projected to score 15 points on Tuesday against the Philadelphia 76ers, which allows us to price the Over 13.5 points at -137. Based on this projection, this bet is showing a positive expected value of 10%.
Andrew Wiggins prop: Over 13.5 points (-110 at bet365)
Prop bet #2: Clint dishes
You can't make guarantees in sports betting as absolutely nothing is a lock, but I can guarantee you one thing with this wager on Clint Capela's odds: you'll never be as invested in one pass in your life while watching an NBA game as you will be tonight.
Capela and the Atlanta Hawks will be taking on the Los Angeles Lakers, which means the Hawks will need Capela to help slow down Anthony Davis. This isn't directly relevant to his assists prop, but what it does for us is create more of a guarantee on the type of minutes we should see from Capela.
Davis is going to be Capela's problem because there really isn't anyone else on the roster who can match up with The Brow. This makes me confident we could see elevated minutes for Capela, and the Hawks' center could surpass his season average of 25.9 minutes per game.
Why the assists prop for Capela? The Lakers played Houston last night, and I watched four of the Rockets' five starters absolutely blow past their assists total to the Over, especially the players in the frontcourt. Alperen Sengun had a total of 4.5, and he finished with seven dimes, while Jabari Smith Jr., who had a total of 1.5 with the Over trading at +150, finished with four.
Capela is projected to have exactly one assist tonight — meaning we can price the Over 0.5 assists at -154 — but it is available at Caesars for -115.
Clint Capela prop: Over 0.5 assists (-115 at Caesars)
Prop bet #3: On Holiday
It honestly feels like this is my 17th time handicapping a matchup between the Boston Celtics and Indiana Pacers. I've targeted this prop in previous matchups between these two, and with Over 4.5 assists trading at -130, I'm going after it again for Jrue Holiday.
A game against Indiana is wide open, with lots of scoring and very little resistance on the defensive end. Myles Turner is also questionable on Tuesday for the Pacers, which would make the paint even more wide open.
The best part about betting on Jrue Holiday's odds surrounding his assists prop is his teammates. Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown can easily finish at the rim against Indiana, converting potential assists for the PG.
There's an edge with Holiday's points prop and his assists prop on Tuesday, but I strongly prefer the assists. We don't know the status of Kristaps Porzingis yet, who is questionable with an ankle injury.
As it currently stands, we have an edge in pricing on both, but if Porzingis plays, that would negatively affect Holiday's points prop but boost his assists prop by giving him someone on the interior who can finish potential assists at a high rate.
Holiday is projected to drop 5.4 assists on Tuesday against the Pacers, allowing us to price the Over 4.5 assists at -155, but it is available at FanDuel at -130. Make sure to shop around before placing this bet: You might be able to catch a better number as it has been bouncing around all morning.
