My best bet
Victor Wembanyama Under 24.5 points (-115 at bet365)
My analysis
Victor Wembanyama is having a fantastic season for the San Antonio Spurs in Year 2 and continues to be a big reason they actually have a shot at a playoff spot. The big man is averaging 25.2 points, 10.1 rebounds, and 3.9 assists on 36% shooting from 3-point land.
He’s also been scorching hot lately, hitting the Over in points in four of his last five. That includes a 42-point outburst on Christmas Day against the Knicks at Madison Square Garden. However, Wemby scored just 19 on Friday against the Nets, and there’s reason to believe he’ll stay Under 24.5 tonight.
Wembanyama had just 20 points versus the Minnesota Timberwolves on December 15. He also scored just 17 against them in November as well. The former first overall pick tends to struggle versus Western Conference opponents, averaging only 22.7 points as opposed to over 30 ppg against Eastern Conference teams,
While he’s faced Western teams a lot more, that does say something. He clearly doesn’t play too well against Minnesota, either, also averaging 20.3 ppg in four appearances in the 2023-24 campaign. This feels like the perfect time to hammer the Under on Wemby.

The Point God has still got it. Chris Paul may not be scoring the rock at a high level anymore, but he’s still dishing dimes on a nightly basis. CP3 has been a brilliant addition to this young Spurs squad alongside Wembanyama, averaging 9.6 points and 8.2 assists.
He’s smashed the assists Over in four of his last six games and dropped nine dimes on the Timberwolves in mid-December. He also had 13 assists against Minnesota earlier this year.
Although Paul’s assist numbers drop to an average of 6.9 on the road, he’s hot right now when it comes to facilitating, and his stats versus the Wolves back up this bet. It’s worth a shot.
Anthony Edwards’ 3-point Over/Under is set at 3.5 tonight. That seems extremely high, but Edwards is draining an average of 4.1 triples on 9.8 attempts per game.
Edwards is shooting the rock at a ridiculous clip lately. He’s hit the Over in triples in three of his last four appearances, going 4-for-8 and 4-for-7 across his previous two contests. Even though he sank just three treys apiece in his two appearances versus San Antonio this season, this one offers value because Ant really has a lot of confidence from long-range at the moment.
