It'll be hard to top the instant classic that was Georgia-Alabama in Week 5, especially when you look at a Week 6 slate that features no real standout matchup.

That leaves us with teams like Georgia and Mississippi looking to get back in the win column and others like Ohio State and Tennessee looking to keep the train rolling.

CFB Week 6 ATS picks

Michigan State vs. Oregon (-24): Oregon -24

Oregon is close enough to Ohio State to justify a similar spread at home to what the Buckeyes covered with ease in a 38-7 road win last Saturday. Lay the number.

UCLA vs. Penn State (-27.5): UCLA +27.5

I've taken the Bruins with the points in back-to-back weeks, and they've yet to fail me (covered +23.5 vs. Oregon and +21 at LSU). Heading to Death Valley makes this the toughest of those matchups, but that's reflected in this wider spread.

Missouri vs. Texas A&M (-2) : Missouri +2

One might nitpick Mizzou's two latest victories, but this four-game win streak for Texas A&M doesn't instill much confidence either. I trust Brady Cook more and expect the Tigers to win outright.

Iowa vs. Ohio State (-20): Ohio State -20

The side you pick here probably comes down to whether you think Iowa's defense can at least slow this Ohio State offense. That would be something I don't personally believe.

Auburn vs. Georgia (-24.5): Georgia -24.5

I'd hate to be the team to have to play Georgia coming off a loss, and it's clear the second half against Bama woke up what was a slumping Bulldogs offense.

Mississippi (-9) vs. South Carolina: South Carolina +9

Don't forget: this South Carolina team pummeled the same Kentucky that beat Mississippi last week. Take the points with the home dog.

Alabama (-22.5) vs. Vanderbilt: Vanderbilt +22.5

This won't be as easy as it looks. Vandy has been playing good teams tough, and Bama is in maybe the biggest letdown spot of the season thus far.

Clemson (-14.5) vs. Florida State: Clemson -14.5

The Seminoles are 1-3 and haven't played anyone of Clemson's caliber. Oh, and they're starting backup quarterback Brock Glenn in place of an injured DJ Uiagalelei.

Tennessee (-13.5) vs. Arkansas: Tennessee -13.5

I'm thrilled to get this number under two touchdowns. An offense that mustered just 41 total points against Auburn and A&M will struggle mightily against one of the best defenses in the nation.

Michigan vs. Washington (-2.5): Michigan +2.5

I'm as skeptical as anyone when it comes to this Michigan team, but only against the best teams in the nation — something Washington is not.

USC (-8.5) vs. Minnesota: USC -8.5

You have to feel good about the way the Trojans came back and pulled away from Wisconsin in the second half last week. I suspect that momentum will carry over into Week 6.

Miami (-10) vs. California: Miami -10

While undefeated, Miami is very clearly flawed. With that said, I'm not sure Cal is well-positioned to take advantage of such flaws. I'll lay the points.
