It's big stakes when the 17th-ranked Clemson Tigers meet the No. 8 SMU Mustangs in the ACC Championship.

The winner gets an automatic berth into the College Football Playoff, leaving the other to sweat their berth into the national title bracket.

But it's big stakes for you, too, if you're betting at home, which is why we're sharing our favorite Clemson vs. SMU anytime touchdown picks.

+120 at DraftKings

This is strictly a statistical advantage bet, as the Clemson Tigers is a Top 5 passing team in the ACC, ranking second with 30 TD passes on the year.

Antonio Williams was the centerpiece of that operation, leading the team with 66 receptions, 788 yards, and 10 TD grabs.

It's surprising to me the books have him at plus odds, but I get it. They're taking into account his volatility: He's had three games with two scores while picking up four TD's across the other eight games, getting shut out altogether in another four.

However, that shouldn't matter on Saturday. SMU can be had through the air.

They're just inside the Top 10 in the ACC, allowing 230.3 yards per game, but the Mustangs also allowed the fourth-most TD passes this year with 20.

-270 at DraftKings

The SMU Mustangs second-ranked scoring offense in the conference is in large part due to the work put in by senior running back Brashard Smith.

He's rushed for 1,157 yards and 14 touchdowns on the season. Smith closed out the campaign hitting with touchdown runs in five straight games (seven total) while adding another two through the air.

Clemson is a Bottom 4 run defense in the ACC, allowing better than 150 yards per contest, so there should be room for Smith to operate.

The -270 juice does seem a little prohibitive, so if you are interested in shaking up your card, a 2-TD day brings in +200 odds.

Smith has accomplished that feat in five of the 12 games he's played this year.
