It’s an all-Big 12 battle Saturday night when the Kansas State Wildcats take on the Colorado Buffaloes.

I’ve scoured the betting lines to find my favorite Kansas State vs. Colorado predictions surrounding the player props market. Not surprisingly, Shedeur Sanders has my attention.

Kansas State vs Colorado college football player props

Prop bet #1: Shedeur Sanders Over 306.5 passing yards

-115 at BetMGM

After setting the school’s all-time passing yard mark a season ago, Shedeur Sanders is on pace to threaten his own record.

The Buffs' quarterback has piled up 1,630 passing yards, with 14 TD passes against just three interceptions. After taking 25 sacks through five games a season ago, that number is down to 17 this year.

Kansas State isn’t exactly the team to dent that sack total, as it's among the worst schools graded out by PFF in terms of pass rush, with just 10 sacks through six games.

That bodes well for Sanders, whose passing line for Saturday is 306.5 yards. It’s a figure he’s cleared three times in five games this season.

K-State has allowed a pair of passers to top 300 yards this season, including last game when Oklahoma State’s Alan Bowman threw for 364.

The matchup sets up nicely for Shedeur, who’ll just need to be his same electric self to make it happen.

Prop bet #2: Avery Johnson Over 1.5 passing touchdowns

+100 at BetMGM

We know running the ball is the Wildcats' bread and butter, ranking eighth in the NCAA in rush yards per game at 252.2. We also know quarterback Avery Johnson plays a big role in that department as a dual-threat pivot who can pick up chunks of yardage.

However, I'm targeting his TD passing prop because it’s a line he’s crossed regularly and with little fanfare.

Johnson has thrown at least two scores in all but one game this season, and he’s coming off a season-best three TD passes in the Wildcats’ 42-20 win over the Cowboys.

The Buffs are not immune to allowing TD passes. After giving up just two touchdown passes total in their first three games, Colorado has surrendered two in back-to-back games.

Prop bet #3: LaJohntay Wester anytime touchdown

+125 at BetMGM

While Travis Hunter is the spotlight athlete of this Colorado team, fellow receiver LaJohntay Wester might be the most consistent.

His TD catch in the last game against UCF gave him a receiving score in four straight, with five total on the year. That’s just one behind Hunter, who leads the team.

Wester, the senior transfer from FAU, is threatening his personal best for TDs in a season, catching eight on two different occasions. After not allowing a receiving touchdown through the first three games, Kansas State has allowed three in the last two games.

With Sanders expected to pass frequently, I like Wester’s chances of pulling in another score on Saturday — and at plus odds to boot!
