My analysis
Kansas started the season ranked 22nd in the country and jumped up to 19th after their opening win over an FCS opponent. However, things have fallen apart with four consecutive losses to Illinois, UNLV, West Virginia, and TCU.
However, while the Kansas pass offense has only averaged 171.2 yards per game, wideout Luke Grimm has caught 30 passes of Jalon Daniels’ 69 completions this season. He also has five touchdowns for a team that has only found paydirt 17 times.
Although it has been difficult for Kansas to reach the red zone this season, the Jayhawks have been excellent at converting those opportunities into six points — boasting 14 touchdowns in 18 trips. On the other side, the Arizona State defense has allowed nine touchdowns throughout 11 opponent red zone possessions.
With ASU sporting the 13th-ranked run defense in the country, the Sun Devils will force Kansas into passing the football. Regardless of who wins on Saturday night, Grimm is a great bet to reach paydirt.

While Kansas has lost four straight, it has a lot to do with being unlucky in turnovers. The Jayhawks remain the more talented team and should be favored, so I will take advantage of them being betting dogs.
