The 6-5 Denver Broncos have a favorable schedule coming up for their bid for a spot in the playoffs, and it starts on Sunday when they travel to Sin City to take on the 2-8 Las Vegas Raiders on CBS.

The Broncos were able to light up the scoreboard in their previous matchup with the Raiders this season. My Broncos vs. Raiders predictions believe we will see a similar offensive performance from Denver.

Find out why I'm projecting plenty of scoring for the Broncos in my NFL picks for Sunday, November 24.

Broncos vs Raiders prediction

Who will win Broncos vs Raiders?

The Broncos won earlier this season in their first matchup, but the Raiders won the previous eight matchups and have not lost at home to Denver since the 2015 season when they were in Oakland. Denver is a decent favorite at -275 on the moneyline at home, and I think they finally got their first win in Vegas.

The Raiders rank 31st in giveaways and 32nd in takeaways, making them the worst team in the NFL in turnover margin. The Broncos are going to score at least 24 points making it extremely difficult for the Raiders to win against a very good defense.

My best bet
Broncos team total Over 23.5  (-115 at BetMGM)

My analysis
These two teams met in Denver back in Week 5, and it was a dominating 34-18 win for the Denver Broncos. However, the Las Vegas Raiders were up 10-3 with the ball in the red zone in the second quarter before Gardner Minshew threw an interception in the endzone that was returned for a 100-yard touchdown. That strung together 34 unanswered points by Denver.

That game was nothing unusual for the Raiders defense. They allow 28.5 points per game, which is the fourth worst in the NFL. They have given up 24 or more points in six of their last eight games. Meanwhile, the Broncos have scored 24 or more points in five of their six wins. The Broncos are -275 on the moneyline to win this contest.

Sometimes, the Broncos defense can help lead to putting points on the board. In that last game with the Raiders, Denver only racked up 289 yards of total offense, but they forced three turnovers that directly led to 14 points. They also did not turn the ball over themselves a single time. The Raiders have only five takeaways on the season, which ranks dead last in the NFL.

Meanwhile, the Raiders have turned the ball over at least once in every game this season and have multiple turnovers in five different games. The Broncos should be able to win the turnover battle, which will give them extra red zone opportunities. The Broncos rank 10th in the NFL in red zone touchdown percentage at 58.3%. The Raiders rank 26th, allowing a 65.8% touchdown percentage in the red zone on defense.

The opposing team has hit their Team Total Over in seven of the 10 Raiders games this season. The Broncos offense has excelled against bad teams, and there is no reason to believe that Sunday will not be another example of this. I love the Broncos to at least reach 24 points.

Broncos vs Raiders same-game parlay

Broncos TT Over 23.5

Ameer Abdullah Over 2.5 receptions

Javonte Williams Over 58.5 rushing + receiving yards

To go along with our best bet, I am going to take a correlated play on the Raiders' side of the ball. With the Broncos scoring, the Raiders will be in a trailing game script. That means we should see plenty of Ameer Abdullah in the backfield, and he should see some touches in the passing game. Abdullah has three catches in each of the last two games and four of the last six – including the last game against Denver.

Finally, the Broncos backfield is a bit of a toss-up from week to week, but Javonte Williams was excellent in his last game against the Raiders. He had 61 yards rushing on 13 carries and 50 yards receiving on five catches. I like his combined rushing + receiving total for this game to finish off this parlay..
