Jahmyr Gibbs is one of the most dynamic RBs in football, and he'll own the trenches against Seattle.

A second consecutive week of a Monday Night Football doubleheader concludes with the Seattle Seahawks vs. Detroit Lions in a game that should bring plenty of excitement.

The undefeated Seahawks boast the best passing defense in the NFL and my Seahawks vs. Lions predictions see the Lions banking on their running backs.

Here are my favorite NFL picks surrounding player props for Monday, September 30.

Lions vs Seahawks MNF props

Prop bet #1: Jahmyr Gibbs Over 11.5 rushing attempts

The stellar sophomore has steadily increased his workload in the run game week after week this season. Jahmyr Gibbs started with 11 carries in Week 1, had 13 in Week 2, and 16 in Week 3. Now he's going against the best pass defense in the NFL and will be needed again.

The Seahawks have played three games with very different game scripts for the opposing offense. The opener saw 42 pass attempts from rookie Bo Nix, so neither running back had 12 or more carries for the Broncos.

However, the Patriots had 32 total rush attempts between their two backs in a close game. The Dolphins were blown out, so they were forced to pass — although De’Von Achane still had 11 carries.

Gibbs is the playmaker in the backfield for the Detroit Lions, and against a stout defense, that is who you want to have the ball in their hands. He has at least 11 carries in 14 of his last 19 games and his volume should be there on Monday night.

Prop bet #2: David Montgomery Over 8.5 receiving yards

-106 at FanDuel

As Gibbs has seen his workload in the run game increase, David Montgomery has seen the same increase in the passing game.

After only one target in Week 1, Montgomery saw four targets in Week 2 and 3 targets last week. He's also caught every single target this season, which is a great sign we won't need a ton of volume to hit this Over. Montgomery had 35 and 17 yards receiving in each of the last two weeks.

The Lions are known for getting unconventional, and against a top passing defense, they'll throw in some looks to get the “run-heavy” RB involved in the passing game. Since this number is so low, if he sees even two targets, there's a very good chance he hits this Over.

Prop bet #3: Jahmyr Gibbs Over 42.5 rushing yards

-113 at FanDuel

Since Gibbs is going to get the volume with his rush attempts, he'll also go Over his rushing yardage total. He has 84 and 83 yards rushing in each of his last two games — both saw more than 11 carries. Gibbs has run for 53 or more yards in six of his nine games where he saw more than 11 carries.

The Seahawks allow 4.4 yards per carry and have allowed nine runs of 10 or more yards this season. Those numbers aren't terrible, but they have yet to face a player as dynamic as Gibbs in a situation like this.

Achane was able to break out one run for 13 yards in last week’s blowout, while Rhamondre Stevenson and Antonio Gibson were each able to run for more than 80 yards two weeks ago against the Seahawks. Gibbs will have the volume to break a long one and should have no problem clearing this number.
