Packers vs Seahawks expert picks & predictions

Pick: Josh Jacobs Over 72.5 rushing yards (-110 at bet365)

Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs has been a key piece of the offensive attack and deployed consistently. While his output has waned in recent weeks, Josh Inglis points to some specific context that leads him to believe a big ground game looms in Seattle.

"In Weeks 7 to 12, Josh Jacobs averaged 96 rushing yards per game on 18.8 carries and scored seven TDs. Then he played on a short week vs. Miami in Week 13, where he tied for his lowest output of the season with 43 yards on 19 carries, and then played again on Thursday for Thanksgiving, where he went 66 yards on 18 carries and three scores. This will be his first Sunday game game in three weeks and the extra rest is going to help in a game that will likely be decided on the ground."

Not only does Inglis anticipate Jacobs to clear his rushing prop, he doesn't think it'll be particularly close.

"Jacobs has had two games this year with extra rest — he's gone for 227 rushing yards and 285 total yards in them combined. THE BLITZ is projecting 96 yards for the Green Bay Packers running back who leads the league in missed tackles forced and has 32 over his last three games alone, and that was on short rest."

This prop has risen to 79.5 or 80.5 since the pick was filed, but that is still well below THE BLITZ projections.

Packers vs Seahawks prop pick

Pick: Zach Charbonnet Over 29.5 passing yards (-110 at bet365)

Rohit Ponnaiya is targeting Seattle Seahawks running back Zach Charbonnet to get it done through the air. Kenneth Walker III's injury issues have opened the door for Charbonnet, who made the most of his snaps in Week 14 and should be busy again tonight.

"Charbonnet might not get as many carries this week since a positive game script is less likely, but he should continue to see plenty of work in the passing game. The Seahawks love to throw the ball to their running backs, with Charbonnet racking up 36 catches for 263 yards, while Walker has hauled in 38 for 271."

Walker is likely out again, which only further boosts Charbonnet's chances out of the backfield.

"Charbonnet will receive the bulk of snaps on passing downs against a Packers defense that allows 43.5 receiving yards per game to opposing running backs — the fourth-highest number in the league."

Jordan Love prop pick

Pick: Jordan Love Over 0.5 interceptions (-132 at bet365)

Packers QB Jordan Love has gone three straight games without throwing an interception but Shawn Wronka thinks that run of good fortune will come to an end in Seattle.

"He faces the task of throwing against a revitalized Seattle Seahawks defense that has gotten much healthier and has grasped new head coach Mike MacDonald's defensive scheme that he brought over from the Ravens.

"That defense has now generated an interception in seven straight games, with the likes of Coby Bryant (3), Julian Love (2), and Tariq Woolen (2) leading the way."

The Seahawks have terrorized enemy quarterbacks and offensive lines, improving their pressure from earlier in the year.

"They now rank 11th in pressure rate on the year despite that slow start, and Love has thrown seven picks in five games against teams in the Top 10 in (that metric)."

Packers vs Seahawks SNF same-game parlay

Josh Jacobs 100+ rushing yards

Josh Jacobs 20+ rushing attempts

Josh Jacobs anytime touchdown

Josh is calling for an all-Jacobs SGP, expecting him to reach the century mark — which more than clears where the O/U on the prop sits today — on 20+ attempts.

"In every game that Jacobs has rushed the ball for 20+ times, he has gone for 100+ yards and a score. He is coming off extra rest after playing in back-to-back Thursday games while the Seahawks haven't allowed a 100-yard rusher since Week 8, but Seattle has not faced a tough stretch of opponents with their five wins since Week 7 coming against opponents who have gone 10-18 SU since."

Tack on an anytime touchdown, and we've got +700 odds from Inglis' Packers vs Seahawks predictions.
