The stage is set for Super Bowl 59 at the Caesars Superdome with the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles looking for a big win in the Big Easy.

Following early line movement to the spread, moneyline, and total, action on the Super Bowl odds has cooled, with the Chiefs a short favorite to win their third consecutive championship.

Here are the latest betting insights ahead of Super Bowl 59 on Sunday, February 9.

Little line movement following opening flurry

The Super Bowl 59 odds have stalled following early action, dropping the Kansas City Chiefs from a -2 favorite to -1.5 at Caesars Sportsbook. It’s a similar story with the moneyline (Chiefs -130 to -125) and the total (49.5 to 49).

A pair of the biggest bets have come in on the Under, with notable action also coming on the Philadelphia Eagles moneyline. Caesars also tweeted out an alternate spread bet on the Eagles -5.5 on Sunday:

The public will likely have its say leading into Sunday, and the Super Bowl is traditionally an outlier where sharp action doesn’t always weigh in as heavily.

A number of notable NFL prop bets have also been reported, with KC tight end Travis Kelce backed at +1500 in the Super Bowl MVP odds.

Is Caesars' Star of the Show Boost a good bet?

Caesars has also expanded its prop offerings for the Big Game and has a number of boosts, including its Star of the Show Boost for Eagles running back Saquon Barkley to finish with Over 99.5 rushing yards and Over 19.5 receiving yards priced at +275.

Caesars has his rushing yards total at 112.5 and receiving yards total at 12.5, with even -115 splits on the Over and Under for both.

I have him projected for 104.4 rushing yards and 16.6 receiving yards, so the Over 19.5 receiving yards is my deciding factor. It’s also important to note these two parlay legs aren’t correlated because if Barkley is rushing the ball, he can’t also be catching it.

I have this two-leg parlay priced at +309, and while my numbers don’t show off oodles of value, they’re close enough to deem this a fair price.

Additionally, considering Barkley is just +220 to win Super Bowl MVP at Caesars, this Star of the Show Boost is an alternative option with longer NFL odds.
