The Dallas Stars hosted the Flames down in Dallas on Thursday night, made a big trade on Friday, and saw their comeback fall short in Edmonton on Saturday night. It’s been quite a few days for Dallas, and the Vancouver Canucks are in a great position to take advantage.
Dallas is one of the best teams in the league but its road record isn’t too impressive. The Stars are 24-7-1 at home but just 17-13-1 on the highway.
Vancouver has turned things around since returning home earlier this week. The Canucks beat the Ducks 3-2 before a 3-1 win over the Wild on Friday night. They’ve now won four straight at home to get up to 13-10-7 on the year in their own barn.
The Canucks should also have the advantage in the crease tonight with Kevin Lankinen likely to face off against Stars backup Casey DeSmith.
