The Philadelphia Flyers return home to host the Winnipeg Jets at Wells Fargo Center on Thursday night.
The Flyers are home underdogs on the NHL odds board despite coming off a big win down in Florida. Meanwhile, the Jets have lost four straight games, including a 3-0 shutout loss in Pittsburgh on Tuesday night.
Philly won the first meeting between these two teams with a 2-0 shutout victory in Winnipeg on January 13th. Can the Flyers keep the momentum going at home? Read our Jets vs. Flyers NHL picks below to find out.

Jets vs Flyers predictions
The Winnipeg Jets were one of the best teams in the league for a few months. They went 26-6-2 from November 4 to January 20 while not allowing more than three goals in any of those 34 games. However, they’ve struggled recently with four straight losses and four goals against in two of those contests.
The main issue for the Jets, though, has been their goalscoring — or lack thereof — with just three goals in their last four games.
"The similarity in the four games is our inability to score," Winnipeg coach Rick Bowness said. "We're not getting outplayed. We're just not scoring right now."
The Jets have been able to get by in some lower-scoring games thanks to a great season from Connor Hellebucyk. The current Vezina Trophy odds favorite is 23-10-3 with a 2.22 GAA and .923 SV% this season. He should get the nod tonight in Philadelphia.
Backup goalie Laurent Brossoit is getting the start for the Philadelphia Flyers, but he’s been solid as well at 7-3-2 with a 2.07 GAA and .926 SV%.
Given both team’s strength in net and relative lack of goalscoring, it isn’t too surprising to see the total set at 5.5. Still, that may be a bit too high as shown by the 2-0 final in the first meeting.
Furthermore, the Jets are the third-most profitable Under team this season at 26-15-7 with the Flyers not too far behind them at 28-21-2.
My best bet: Under 5.5 (-110 at Sports Interaction)
Jets vs Flyers same-game parlay
The Under 5.5 is our best bet for tonight and we’re going to take the home team at a +1.5 spread as well. The Flyers and Jets both played some close games over the past few months, and it wouldn’t be too surprising if the Flyers ended up winning outright.
The Jets have scored two goals or fewer in seven of their last eight games, including that 2-0 shutout loss to the Flyers, with just 11 total goals in that span. They’ve won three of those games, but two were by one goal — including one in overtime.
The Flyers should be able to keep it close at home, and this is a game that could very well go to overtime with both teams looking for that precious point.
Finally, we’re adding a bit of a contrarian leg here of Flyers forward Travis Konecny to score a goal despite taking the Under 5.5. Konecny broke a long slump with a beautiful goal on Tuesday night and tends to score goals in bunches.

Jets vs Flyers moneyline and Over/Under analysis
The Jets opened around -130 and they’re now up to as short as -142. You can get Winnipeg at -140 at SIA while the Flyers are +115 underdogs at home.
There shouldn’t be too much line movement unless an unexpected injury pops up. Hellebuyck and Brossoit are projected to start in net and neither team played last night or Friday.
The total set at 5.5 will also likely remain there. It’s at 5.5 across the board with most books offering -110 for both the Over and Under.
