The Tampa Bay Lightning continue their road trip on Saturday night with an Atlantic Division matchup against the Boston Bruins.
The Bolts are coming off a win in Minnesota on Thursday night while the Bruins dropped a wild affair against the Penguins at home. Tampa Bay beat Boston 5-4 in overtime back on November 20th in the lone meeting this season.

The Boston Bruins recent four-game winning streak masked some of their deeper problems. Their lack of depth has been apparent this season and their defense (and goaltending) didn't help much in their 6-5 loss on Thursday night.
The B's are 4-2-2 in their last eight games and 9-6-3 since starting the season 14-1-3. Their underlying numbers support that with the sixth-worst xGF% (44.96%) in the last 10 games, bringing them down to 20th in the league overall this season.
Meanwhile, the Tampa Bay Lightning have been slowly but surely moving in the other direction. While they're just 2-3-0 since the break, those losses came against the Panthers, Rangers, and Jets. Dating back to December 4, Tampa Bay is 9-6-0 after a shaky 10-10-5 start.
Tampa Bay needs to get better on the road but they did get a 4-1 victory in Minnesota last time out. A lot of that has to do with the return of Andrei Vasilevskiy. The Russian netminder is 8-5-0 with 33 goals allowed and a .914 SV% in his last 13 games.
While it's tough to bet against Boston at home with its 11-3-3 record, more losses have to come eventually. The Lightning are undervalued at +140 tonight.
