The Stanley Cup will be in the building Saturday night, as will the Florida Panthers’ brooms, trying to sweep the Oilers to claim their first franchise title.
That means our NHL betting days and the bevy or player props we scan on the regular are coming to a close.
If that’s the case, let’s make sure we make this one count. Check out my Game 4 NHL picks, rolled into a SGP for this potential finale.

Connor McDavid has never been held without a goal in a playoff series he’s ever been a part of.
He’s picked up at least a goal in 11 career series, but he’s on the verge of getting goosed, on his home-ice no less, on the biggest stage.
It’s not from a lack of effort. He was as dangerous as anyone on the ice in Game 3, picking up a couple of assists, but it wasn’t enough, the Florida Panthers built up a 4-1 lead and hung on to win by one.
McDavid has never really struggled offensively against the Panthers, having scored in 12 of 13 regular season games against them, including eight goals.
While the win is in question, I think he lights the lamp in his best effort of the playoffs.
Rolling Stuart Skinner’s save line in this one was made easy by an inflated number of 25.5.
The Panthers have only taken 26 or more shots in a game this series once, and Skinner’s save number has been Under this line in every game this series.
In fact, from Round 2 on, the Edmonton Oilers' defense has really limited the shots against their netminder, as he’s only gone Over 26 saves twice in the last 14 games, and has only faced 20 or more shots five times in that stretch.
Quietly, Sam Bennett has been one of Florida’s most consistent contributors. He picked up a goal in the Game 3 win, giving Bennett points in every game this series — the only Florida player to do so.
He has points in six straight games, and has only been held off the scoresheet four times in the 15 playoff games he’s played. Look for him to play a part in this potential closeout.
