Votes for the 2024 US presidential election are still being tabulated, but that doesn't mean it's too early to look ahead to betting opportunities in 2028.
In the present, Republican Donald Trump has been elected President of the United States in decisive fashion and his opponent, Democrat Kamala Harris, has called to concede, all but putting a bow on the 2024 proceedings.
As a result, the Republican Party is the early favorite in the US election betting odds to come out ahead in 2028.

More betting markets will emerge, but for the time being, this is the only one available on the 2028 election.
While the Republicans are favored, Trump is prohibited from running again in 2028 due to constitution that prevents presidents from serving more than two terms.
"No person shall be elected to the office of the President more than twice, and no person who has held the office of President, or acted as President, for more than two years of a term to which some other person was elected President shall be elected to the office of the President more than once," reads the 22nd Amendment.
