Saturday’s final Premier League game sees Arsenal and Brentford meeting at Emirates Stadium with the Gunners’ faint title hopes on the line.
A sensational victory over Real Madrid in the UCL last week sees Arsenal full of confidence, but with the second leg this coming Wednesday, we’re likely to see some lineup changes here. With that in mind, our Arsenal vs. Brentford predictions have Ethan Nwaneri finding the back of the net for the Gunners.

Premier League predictions for Arsenal vs Brentford
My best bet: Ethan Nwaneri to score (+270 at DraftKings)
My analysis
Arsenal’s Declan Rice got the plaudits in Tuesday’s UCL win, curling in two beautiful free kicks as he scored one of the best braces in the history of the Champions League. However, it was Bukayo Saka, not Rice, that was Arsenal’s star player.
Saka tormented Real Madrid from the right wing and terrified them every time he picked up the ball. Saka was withdrawn from that game with Mikel Arteta being careful with the 23-year-old, such is his importance to the team. Last weekend we saw Arteta rotate his team against Everton, before that first leg, with Ethan Nwaneri coming into the side on the right flank. It’s highly likely we see Nwaneri back there on Saturday, and our best bet is for the 18-year-old to score.
Nwaneri has been spoken of as Arsenal’s next great youngster since he first appeared for the first team at 15 years old and 181 days, and at the time he was the youngest player to ever play in the league. This season he’s really blossomed and has been featured a lot more, and although the majority of his appearances have come from the bench, he’s been hugely impressive.
We’ve only seen Nwaneri score three times in the Premier League this season, but he’s found the back of the net on eight occasions across all competitions, a great return for his first season as a regular member of the team.
He’s available at a big price of +270 to score against Brentford, which offers a high value betting opportunity. That price is substantially bigger than that of Saka, who is unlikely to start.
Saka has scored six Premier League goals this season, but on a per minute basis he’s averaging 0.4 goals per 90 minutes played. Nwaneri may only have three goals, but if you consider his output per 90 minutes played, he’s at 0.37 goals per game, very close to Saka. He’s got a better goals per 90 minutes played ratio than either Gabriel Martinelli (0.32 per 90) and Leandro Trossard (0.22 per 90), and he’s only just behind the team’s highest scorer Kai Havertz at 0.44 goals per 90 minutes played.
Brentford have given up 47 Premier League goals this season. Only five teams have conceded more, and they make up the Bottom 5 teams in the table.
Arsenal vs Brentford same-game parlay (SGP)
Arsenal have lost just one of their past 21 Premier League games and are still in the title race, despite it looking like an outside chance right now. Brentford have been strong away from home but Arsenal are riding the feel-good factor right now while Brentford have stumbled of late, winning just one of their past five games.
We’ve seen Under 2.5 goals in six of Arsenal’s past seven games, and given they have a Champions League game on Wednesday, there’s a good chance that we’ll see things kept very tight, with Arteta making a number of rotations in his starting lineup. Arsenal have the best defense in the Premier League and have given up just 26 goals in 31 games.
