Colombia have been somewhat fortunate to reach the Copa America semifinals after exhibiting subpar form throughout the tournament – and another poor performance Tuesday will almost certainly end their tournament hopes.
The Colombians are massive underdogs in the final four of the Copa America tournament, as they tangle with powerhouse Argentina at Estadio Nacional in Brasilia. Colombia needed penalties to dispatch upstart Uruguay in a tougher-than-expected quarterfinal tilt, while the Argentines booked their ticket to the semifinals with a 3-0 rout of Ecuador.

The Colombians reached the quarter-finals despite picking up just one victory in the group stage, though they battled hard in narrow losses to fellow semifinalists Peru and Brazil. That said, they don't stand much of a chance in this one if they can't figure out how to find the net: They have just four goals in five tournament games and were blanked in regulation by both Venezuela and Uruguay.
Argentina have had no such issues, scoring 10 goals en route to a perfect record (four wins, one draw) entering Tuesday's Copa America semifinal. Led by one of the top players on the planet in Lionel Messi, the Argentines are coming off back-to-back one-sided victories in which they've outscored the opposition by a 7-1 margin. They're presently +175 to win the tournament.
With both sides expected to be at or close to full health Tuesday, it's hard to pick against Argentina. They boast an incredible attack and have proven responsible on the defensive side, as well, limiting their five tournament opponents to a combined two goals. The Colombian side has struggled mightily against far less daunting opposition, and will need to be on the attack Tuesday.

The win over Uruguay featured just six total shots on target, with possession nearly split down the middle. That tactic simply won't work against Argentina, which will look to push the pace and put this game away early (having scored four first-half goals in the last two games).
It has taken Argentina a few games to find its footing, as it opened the tournament with a draw before pulling out a pair of uninspiring 1-0 victories. The past two contests, however, have highlighted the full force of this offensive attack – and Argentina should have little trouble putting multiple goals in the net here as they look to set up a dream final vs. the powerhouse hosts.
Colombia has already played a pair of O2.5s despite its plodding approach – and this one should also finish above the number.
