Brunson vs Till betting preview
Derek Brunson comes into this fight as the No. 5-ranked contender in the middleweight division and is on a four-fight winning streak. He's fresh off a unanimous decision win against Kevin Holland in March where he took Holland down six times and controlled him on the mat for a whopping 17 minutes of fight time.
The 37-year-old has enjoyed a lengthy career in MMA, going 22-7 —including 13-5 since entering the UFC. Brunson is a well-rounded fighter who combines excellent wrestling with knockout power on his feet.
Darren "The Gorilla" Till is two spots behind Brunson in the middleweight rankings but hasn't fought in more than a year since losing a unanimous decision to Robert Whittaker. Despite that defeat, Till looked impressive in a back-and-forth scrap that saw him land some heavy strikes and even knock Whittaker down in the opening round.
Till entered the UFC as a welterweight and went 5-0-1 in his first six fights in the octagon before being finished by Tyron Woodley and Jorge Masvidal in consecutive bouts. He moved up to 185 pounds where he defeated Kelvin Gastelum by split-decision in November of 2019 before facing Whittaker last July. Till is a very technical striker and is excellent in the clinch with his Muay Thai skills.

Brunson vs Till UFC predictions and betting picks
PREDICTION: Moneyline Till (-185) - The key to Brunson's recent success is simple: heavy hands, powerful takedowns, and nasty ground-and-pound. That said, he has plenty of holes when standing up and was exposed by Holland in the rare striking exchanges in his last fight, before opting to take the fight back to the mat.
The problem is that Brunson will find it much tougher to take down Till, who has an 83 percent takedown defense and better fight IQ than Holland.
Till can be a bit of a counter-striker at times, but that should give him the edge against an aggressive fighter like Brunson who likes to rush in and close the distance. And Till's dangerous striking in the pocket and clinch should be able to damage Brunson during those inside exchanges.
PREDICTION: Darren Till by KO/TKO (+175) - Brunson is an explosive wrestler that hunts for takedowns, but he can get caught when pressuring, and five of his last six losses have come by KO/TKO.
Till has vicious elbows in close and will be attempting to land those dangerous strikes every time Brunson looks for an entry. That could spell an early end to Brunson's night.
PREDICTION: Under 3.5 rounds (-120) - Three of Brunson's last four fights have gone the distance, with Brunson relying more on his wrestling to grind out wins. That said, prior to that winning streak, nine of Brunson's previous ten bouts had ended within the first round.
