I really like the way Western Mich played yesterday, vs Mich State. Looking forward to next weeks game vs Oregon . I think MSU's players were looking forward as well , which is why I passed on this one. I'll be looking to wager on W. Mich this season

Like that N Illinois....a team often overlooked ....by me especially for some reason......BOL buddy...............
BA , Thanks Bud. No. Ill.has been a school that has done well for me at the cashiers cage over the yrs. I've got some more of them at - 16 as well. This is at the top end of my value spectrum , but UNLV is a horrible team with a new Head Coach , playing their first game on the road. Thought it was worth the risk.
BA , Best of Luck Today my Friend .

Nice call on the Illinois game, they are up 35 -0 in the 2nd half. You lost that Stanford bet but their coach is an idiot. He did things like punt from his own 38 on 4th and 2. Northwestern got it back 18 yards down the field at their own 20. The Stanford play calling wasn't just conservative, it was plain stupid. I didn't put any money on this game so I am not biatching, it was really clear that the Stanford coach was completely out coached by Northwestern. Switch head coaches and you win your bet, Stanford clearly had the best talent, it just wasn't utilized.
Thanks for your picks AND the lesson to be very selective in making bets. Almost everybody on this board is an action junkie. That is not the best way to build a bankroll.
gotta love it that college foots is finally here

LZ , Thanks Bud. That Stanford / Northwesternwas something I did not anticipate . A 5th year Senior QB vs a RS Freshman QB making his first start. While Tree lost a number of starters on Defense , they sure made the boys from Evanston look good I read this one wrong for sure.

LH, I like Kentucky but not at this price. Granted , La Laf. lost Broadway to graduation who was a significant portion of their offense. He was not a student of the passing game however and that was problematic for the Cajuns. This year the Cajuns have an established running game although they do lose a few top O linemen. Haack in limited duty last year put up some good passing numbers. If Hudspeth focuses on the passing game to compliment the run game, they could prove to be somewhat of a challenge to the defenses they will face this season. I'm not saying that they will be a challenge to Kentucky in week 1, but since I do not know what to expect from them , I would pass on them at that price.

I understand your case for Kentucky , and I don't disagree with it fundamentally. What I am trying to say is that Broadway was on the downside in his Senior season with a 13 /9 td/int , 22 sacks and a run first mentality. If he was playing in this game I'd feel better about a wager on Kentucky. Since I do not know what the likelihood of production from the ULL QB position . As I stated in my post # 122 " I'm not saying that they will be a challenge to Kentucky." I just don't like laying over 2 TD's as I don't see the value there vs the risk . I could be wrong but my numbers don't support the play at that price . I have to be faithful and trust my data if I'm going to make a wager. Hope that explains it . I'm sitting on Week 1 with my Baylor and Miss. St wagers so I do not have to take any additional risk.
Best of Luck whatever you decide on that play.

Missst- 13 - 110 8 % of bankroll at risk Illinois- 13 1/2- 110 2 % of bankroll at risk
Illinois - 13 - 108 2 % of bankroll at risk Stan . - 11 - 108 2 % of bankroll at risk
Stan. - 10 - 108 2 % of bankroll at risk
2 Team 7 Point Teaser
Baylor - 27 Missst - 16
Overall a very good day with a 31 percent increase in bankroll due to the above and my parlay wagers referenced in post # 101. Yes I had other parlays that contained UGA which would have increased my return significantly. Right now , I'll turn on some Hawaiian tunes and finish capping Week 2
Hope all did well this week
