BA...On the SJSU game ....I guess 10 minutes before the game...they announced 10 players...5 starters and their offensive and defensive coordinators were "unavailable" for the game....I guess Covid concerns?.....But horrible timing....we would have bought out this game...oh well....onto the next

I completely agree that SJSU was def in a let down spot, but once the spartans started the game without their OC/DC, the best Defensive player in G5, two starting DB's, LB, 3 Olineman, Their best WR, and after the 1st play of the game they lost their playmaking TE, who was replaced by their 4th string TE who was playing with a seperated shoulder. Even after all of that, Ball State only scored one TD after the 1Q, and had 49 more yards than SJSU. They had 5 possessions which ended in the 30, and resulted in 0 points...
I have no idea if they wouldve covered, but there's no excuse for that information not to be released until 10 mins before kickoff. Information is easier to come by then any point in history, but not even the SJSU beat reporters knew that SJSU was going to be sitting their best players, as well as their coaching staff. Considering how much money is at risk, keeping that a secret was inexcusable.
