Don't forget to add the non existent defenses in C-USA
I think A&M made a big mistake...it is too bad they did not get Fedora...A&M will be looking for a new head coach in 3 years or less...and the hapless aggie revolving door continues...but, at least they can see that they are "getting the living shit kicked out of them" in the S E C, baby...hell yea...

Auburn - Some of you know and some of you dont know, but I'm not a Gene Chizik guy. He is IMO one of the most overrated coaches in college football. Besides having arguably one of the most dominate players in college football history in Cam Newton what the hell has he done? Without his crutch Malzan, I really think Auburn goes down from here. Fortunately they do have enough talent parlayed from the national championship year to overcome bad coaching. We can argue this shit all you guys want too and thats fine, but facts are facts. Without the year with Cam, Chizik is a below .500 coach. Thats the facts. Dont give the shit about Iowa S.T, I dont care. Why/ Because that team has actually gotten better since he has left. Auburn is loaded as I said with skill guys. Trey Mason, McCalebb, and Possibly Kyle Frazier are all guys that you must account for when there on the field. I love the defensive unit here and I think VanGorder is a upgrade from what they have had. This is a underrated bunch on defense and I think we might see them do much better then some may expect. When you look at the schedule you cant ignore the brutal start with Clemson, Miss S.t, LSU and Arkansas all in the first 5 weeks. Good thing is only the Miss S.T game is a true road game and the others are at home except for the Clemson game in the Georgia Dome. Due to playing in the west I think the road is tough once again for these guys. I think 7-5 is about as good as it could get for these guys. It wouldn't surprise me to see Auburn as another candidate for a 6-6 team.
up next.................Ole Miss

Texas A&M - Way to enter the SEC guys. Lose your 3 best players and dump the dead beat coach, which BTW, Ive been begging you to do. I guess were really gonna see if Sumlin can coach or not. You walk away from conference USA and walk straight into the pits of hell AKA... the SEC west. Good luck slick, LOL. What is there to say really, I mean this team is a complete unknown at this point. We know they have a few good receivers in Swope and that other cats name that has about 3 Z's and a few K's in it. I do like the Back Michael, I think he needs to stay healthy if this team is gonna have any chance at having a respectable year. Not real sure about the QB position, I do know there thinking about playing the freshman which has plenty of pro's and con's to it. I think the better half of this easily is the defense. Sherman left the kitchen full of talent on that side of the ball, he just never knew what to do with it. Here is something that will matter to this team moving forward to a league where field position is everything. Special teams. Losing All American Kicker Bullock will hurt this team in more ways then they can imagine. Overall the schedule could be worse I guess, but playing that 4 game stretch in the middle of the year may be the end for these guys. LSU @ Auburn, @ Miss s.t, @ Alabama. Ouch. I say the ceiling is 8 wins for these guys, but I really think were looking at a 6-6 team.
up next..................Auburn
food for thought boom because they play 2 fcs teams they have to win 7 games to be bowl eligible

Dude, I don't agree with every single thing you say but, with as much as you post, who would other than your mom, right? Still, you are dead on so much it's crazy... great thread and obviously a hell of a lot of knowledge about the game. How you can maintain your sanity w/ Clemson is beyond me. :)
Completely agree about Chizik...kind of like Les Miles; dufus with a lot of talent and a great staff but, like Les, sooner or later *will* get exposed. Probably sooner, because he's not as good a recruiter.
Also, agree w/ Corley re: Miss St...the bulldogs seriously will be a better team this year and, unless Vegas sets a ridiculous line, I'm all over that game against Jackson. Just sayin'....
BTW, best capper on covers IMHO - BigGiantKiller. (Ice4Blood is also very good in CFB) ... worth checking their threads. But props to you too Boom: your thread is the best read for overall information and entertainment and you're a helluva capper in your own right as well. Rock on & keep up the stellar work you do .....
