My last running dog of the regular season Louisville lost. I'm kinda sorta glad they did. I've always hated the College Football Playoff and the BCS nonsense before that. They've never got it right. Having only 4 playoff spots for five Power 5 conferences has always been bad math. I'm happy about all of this pandemonium. I just wish the 4 team college football playoff had snubbed the SEC altogether on it's way out.

Damn, I've only found 7 Running Dogs so far for bowl season at FanDuel. We usually get at least a dozen. Of course some of these lines at 1.5/2 may flip. I'll keep a close eye. If they do, I'll post them. I thought for sure Arizona would be a Running Dog against OU, but they are actually the -1.5 favorite. If you're curious about the College Football Playoff teams, both favorites Michigan and Texas are the better running teams, so no running dogs there, unless maybe the Michigan line flips. So far the Running Dogs that I bet:
Jax St +1.5
Miami, Ohio +4.5
Old Dominion +3
Northern Illinois +1.5
Bowling Green +6
Kentucky +7
Cal +3.5
Navy +2.5 is the running dog vs Army this week

Gabriel out for Oklahoma.....pretty sure that line opened at OU -3.....so you're system woulda been on it.....
It might have, but I didn't get to it in time. I just saw where Jax St is now a 2.5 point fave. I had a feeling that +1.5 yesterday wasn't going to last.

By the way, Arizona would have been the running dogs against OU. A pretty big one at that because of also having the better D. It should still be a great game. Backup Jackson Arnold (if he plays) is a bigtime talent, and probably part of the reason Gabriel is entering the portal. Of course that's just my opinion.

I don't see Nix playing in this game. And I have my doubts that Lanning can get these guys fired up for Liberty after basically having all of their season dreams destroyed by UW. Of course I could be wrong. I'm terrible at guessing the motivation of 20 year old kids. The only thing I DO know is Liberty will be motivated.

It's mostly just an insurance policy in case Nix and maybe Franklin doesn't play. I think there is a pretty good chance they don't. Other than my running dogs, I doubt if I'll play many more of these games ahead of time without knowing the opt outs.

Been hearing rumors the last couple of hours that the Liberty QB may hit the portal. So this could all backfire on me by the time the dust clears. But I kind of think he might play anyway just to see if his team can complete an undefeated season. I also saw where the Boise and UNLV QB's hit the portal. Likely won't play bowls.

Crap I hope Brumfield plays for UNLV, need a high scoring game vs Kansas. Been trying to refresh live updates...
Love the Navy play, looks like they both have similar success running the ball, but Army gives up 5.0 RYPA (run yards per attempt) and Navy only 3.6. Without getting into other metrics, gimme the team that defends the run better!
Play the game. Don’t let the game play you.

Good luck with the bowls. Like that Bowling Green play.
I think BG is one of the better plays on the board at +6. It's lost some value since I played, now +3.5. Being a P5 vs G5 I wouldn't want to play it at any less than that number.

Here is a list of ALL the teams with the better run numbers, both favorites and dogs:
Michigan …. Better PPG D/Bama better YPG D (barely)
Texas (D)
SJSU (D)
Arizona …. Better YPG D/OU better PPG D (But if they give me enough rope with this line I'm going to be on the Sooners).
Iowa State (D)
Ohio St (D)
Penn St (D) …. Big edge in all numbers. I'm liking Pedo St, but I'll probably wait until the portal dust settles before I make a play.
UGA …. Better YPG D/FSU slightly better PPG D
Oregon (D) …. Run numbers are close
JMU …. Run numbers are close … JMU better PPG D/AFA better YPG D. I'm kind of liking the propellor heads here. We know one thing, there won't be any opt outs with this team.
Texas State
Miami, OH (D)
JSU (D)
Georgia State (D)
ODU (D) ….These guys have already cashed for me a few times this season
Cal
Tennessee

UCLA (D)
NIU (D)
NMSU (D)...Pavia??
Texas A & M (D)
UTSA (D)
Bowling Green (D)
