Two plays today:

Kentucky +7 (got the early line on Dec 3)

Ohio St/Mizzou under 49

 

The running dogs are 5-2 with two pushes and two more games to go with UK and Toledo. Which mean they are assured of another winning season. And that's with all the opt outs. I wasn't around yesterday because of family business, but I probably would have had a small wager on Rutgers. Despite Miami having more total yards, Rutgers outrushed Miami 208-130. That's the name of the game. OU could have used more rushing plays last night instead of putting the entire game on the shoulders of a freshman QB. What a shit show...

I lean Iowa St too, and will try ad play it live if I can get a good number early. 

Do you have any thoughts on the Michigan/Bama total at 44.5? I get the defensive statistics of both teams and Michigan can really grind it out with pace, but 44.5? So a 24-21 type game...I think Milroe will extend some drives on the ground.

No, even though Mizzou owns a very slight edge in rushing yards per carry, the tOSU rush defense is the real deal giving up just 3.4 ypc compared to Mizzou's 4.1. I'm still kicking myself for not playing tOSU last week when they were briefly the dogs..

I'm leaning the over for Michigan/Bama. Bama has a good defense, but tOhio State's is statistically better both against the rush and the pass, and Michigan was able to move the ball at times on the Buckeyes, and in fact outrushed them 156-107. Of course tOSU doesn't have the dynamic duo threat QB like Monroe, so i think Bama will be able to have some success. It may be a ball sweater to get to 45, but I still lean that way.

If Ohio State doesn't come to play, it won't matter that Mizzou isn't the running dogs. I hate putting my trust in Ryan Day. He's a very mediocre coach. And I'm being kind. So it's one of those cross your fingers games...you know, like the rest of these bowls. Ha!

FWIW, if the line should flip with that team who put tOSU in this game, Michigan, and they make Bama the favorites, Michigan would be the Running Dogs with the better D.

With Kentucky covering today, it turned out to be a pretty good season for the Running Dogs. Opt outs and jumps in class killed a couple of the running dog plays, but overall not bad at 6-2 with Toledo remaining.

We can only hope. I sure didn't get the best line with Toledo +3. But other than the Toledo QB not playing, it makes me wonder how much of it is sentimental betting for Bohl coaching his last game. Who knows? I guess if Wyoming covers, the public has to win one every once in a while...I do sort of like the under for the game. Especially the first half....Good luck today!

The last Running Dog Toledo comes through for us making the PRD's 7-2 for the bowl season. One of the best win percentages in the 17 years that we've been doing it. Congrats to all who followed the system. an_cheers
