1. the game is in Louisiana, and even though the crowd will be split, the books know that bettors will still give it some weight for LSU
2. books know that people think LSU is significantly better than Alabama, even though they aren't... which is confirmed by the fact that so many people think this could potentially be a 3.5 or even 3 pt spread

that's why LSU (-2) makes the most sense, and i think that is the number you will see...
