upside - #hell-ya - We know that you know your stuff....True story - App St was our #1 pick if we could get -16.5 on the opener and we saw -17.5 waited and then it was gone...It happens so we are gonna let this one go even though we think they stomp em....Keep in mind have not analyzed it yet but would probably feel ok at 20/21 and 18 should be a winner......No take on the Marshall one yet b/c they are just a shell of their former selves but then again ODU looks awful...I need to read more about ODU game and QB situation etc....Its Marshall or nothing but my line is closer to 17 I think......Love Iowa St but you know us and playing big favs.....We were physically sick just making the bet on the computer Penn St -11 let alone watching it unfoldso cannot imagine laying 14/15 with Iowa St but again - that looks like a winner to us our ratings show -15 tho which surprised us....?? This seems to be a tough spot for Cincy - yes - Crowd Will Be Rocking Guy may be drawn to the home dog but they just lost another conference game and it is not even October yet - 0-2 in the conference and now losing the tiebreaker to Temple is bad news for a team that had higher hopes...Can they get up for this one even tho it is Miami? It is debatable in our view...I mean the kids are gonna play hard - but they pretty much know now the season is in big trouble and with this being a non-conf game I mean how jacked up can they be? of course the real trouble is that Miami will be able to do whatever they want on offense - so Cincy can be as fired up as they want - Miami can run and MATRICULATE with QB Kaaayayayaaa so unless they give the ball away it is going to be a long night for the Cincy D - oh wait - Miami is #2 in turnover margin and #127 for Cincy - NEW GAME PLAN NEEDED....We will say that Miami has Fla St on deck AND our beloved Canes showed a bit of a SOFT UNDERBELLY could not hold FAU to under 200Y rushing wtf and then almost blew a huge lead against Nebraska and were drilled for 4 TD passes....This just in - Cincy can also MATRICULATE in the passing game that backup throws "lasers" and they have a nice offense so if Miami does come out flat they could be down 14-cack early. Miami needs to get up and crush their will to live - then it could get ugly. If not - we expect points and lots of bad tackling and lots of puzzled looks on the face of Tuberville as he watches another one of his poorly coached teams make numerous head scratching mistakes.

Summary - lean to Miami no higher than -4. Lean to over. We guess it opens 67-68 but could be way off. Would lean to any number 66 or lower. If it opens higher even the team totals will be out of play for us. Will not make the official play list.

We finally may see a "normal" score in a Memphis game- after playing B Green and Cincy - So Flo can at least play a bit of defense and their offense is more about the run - which makes us think that the under may be in play here if the total comes out wacky high - Averages Guy will see that Memphis has scored 63 55 44 53 and given up 87 L2G but think this one will be much lower scoring.....Line looks about right - SF has a nice RB in M Mack QB is run/pass threat mostly run...Memphis D looks a lot worse but then again - that could be attributed to who they were playing - SF can make it a game if they try and limit Memphis possessios they have been bad on 3rd down need to find a way to sustain drives - Memphis QB Lynch lighting it up - some bad defenses - but 78.5% over 10/att and 8 td 0 int what a warrior too......SFlo HC 3-7 in 10 games ATS as home dog - SC overall 6-19 L25 ATS at home do not think Crowd Will Be Rocking Guy is gonna have an edge here.

Summary - no lean on side. Waiting for total to come out may have some interest here. Stay tuned.

We were hoping that this one would open below 21 by some miracle of all miracles but to no avail...Temple is 3-0 and the 10 sack effort vs Penn St now a distant memory - got by Cincy despite being outgained managed to force some mistakes - then needed a desperation FG to nip UMass...They have faced two pretty good QBs and a Big 10 team on the road - and now get a hot mess in Charlotte....Obviously need to be humane and give them a pass in their first yr playing an FBS schedule....They did beat Ga St got their teeth kicked in vs MTSU....The boxscore from last wk game is almost too horrid to imagine - they had 7 turnovers - somehow were only (-2) ....Teams COMBINED for less than 400Y....D held FAU one way or another to less than 200Y....Now if Temple sleepwalks through this and turns it over 2-4 times covering 24 is not going to be easy.....conf play on deck....If they just play solid football the Charlotte QBs - well we cannot even describe the horror - they will win this by 30+.

Summary - lean Temple at 24 or lower. Waiting for team totals on this one -Gee I wonder why?

All were too high for us even tho we feel those are all good ones....NIU caught us off guard with the -2.5 line did not really think that would open lower than 3....Now we see MOB STEAM on Central Michigan and unless that is a head fake followed by STEAM on NIU - we are worried about that one a bit and it is only Monday !

so yes - like Kent a lot. We had them in a ML parlay last wk and went 3/5 instead of 4/5. Also just missed with TTech.

BYU has had such a tough schedule so far this season - technically rated #2 per Sagarin but at Neb - home to face Boise - then out to coast to play UCLA - then fly East to Michigan - now back home on a Friday to play UConn........Team has to be a bit fatigued - injury report is loaded with guys like we said - usually overrated but when we see tons of players on it we at least wait and look at it some more before we play...DBs thin..RB Williams has been missed - Hine the only RB with over 25 (TWENTY FIVE) rushing yards is Q AND so is his backup with 23....I mean sure they can find somebody but their OL is not exactly great and while they have played a tough schedule - UConn's D is not going to give up much....BYU sched was front loaded - biggest game left maybe vs Mizz?? but can still technically get 9-10 wins and go to a good bowl - once of those losses 1 pt to UCLA and the other to a pretty good Michigan team blowout city but that was a horrid spot for them.....FR QB can only do so much and you know we love ourselves some ATS UConn this yr - gonna pick our spots tho - so far DOCUMENTED 1-0 vs Mizz....a game they lost 9-6 as 21 pt dogs - congrats CPS subscribers - and those who do not know - they had a reasonable FG to tie the game late and probably force OT but tried the fake and did not complete the pass...If you did not watch that game you might think it was a good move - "players coach" "play to win" type thing BUT they had already tried and SUCCESSFULLY executed a fake punt from their own end AND called timeout before the unsuccessful fake FG basically telegraphing the move - Mizz had it sniffied out triple coverage - We are really liking the look of this team as far as improving and like the HC - even he admitted he should not have tried the fake vs mizz kept offense on field - but he has these guys feeling confident like they can play with anyone - QB play a lot better this yr and D so well coached....We just do NOT like the spot for them - it is a sandwich situation - off Navy conf game - conf play again next wk - and BYU is a tough place to travel to and play on a short week - would feel better if they had some more offensive weapons....BYU is gonna have a fight but at the same time - would not blame UConn for coming out a bit flat......LB Vann hurt last wk and HC said should be ready to go FYI....puzzler game ATS.

Summary. No lean. If we had to make a correct prediction or leave Covers forever we would go UConn and under but think this line looks pretty sharp.
