Love it Mega!!
A reminder on Les Miles. He never runs up the score! The only way LSU cover this is if Eastern Michigan has a ton of pick 6's or something like that. Les Miles ALWAYS takes the knee! That knee has cost me big over the years....

wmcintyre thanks so glad you like that NIU - do not like the CMichigan STEAM but hopefully it is a head fake before REVERSE TRAP STEAM pounds NIU over 3GL this wk
caniac - will look at that one today

MTSU 1 Vandy (52.5)
Megalocks line 3
Sagarin 5.87
Some MOB MOVERS liking Vandy line is now at a pk em at some shops and cant really blame them I suppose - Vandy has found a passing game to go with their pretty good D and were only down by 4 at one point to ole miss in the 4Q last wk Vandy has been very scrappy this yr and only a bye on deck so MTSU will have their full attention....MTSU a very balanced team - got the bowl snub last yr at 6-6 really wanna make sure their is no doubt this yr so even tho WKU on deck - they too should be focused. Looks like a tossup to us.
Summary - no lean on side. Would lean over if Tout Scum Inc releases an under play and we can go over 51 but no higher.

LSU continues to do what they do - pound teams into submission with the beastly Fournette and move on to the next one - Things get tougher (how can they not?) after EM and even though it is S Carolina next - more importantly - it is all SEC after this one - only a game vs WKU interrupts that stretch so there is really no reason to go full out in this one with the starters - PROBLEM E Michigan run D is so bad we cannot even describe it so LSU is going to score without trying to score - QB sneak? 67 yd td. ...So even trying to run out the clock may result in more points - vanilla running plays it will not matter.... We do however feel that EM will be able to MATRICULATE once or twice with success in the passing game their offense is fine - even the Syracuse 6th stringer threw for 3 TD.
Summary. No lean on side unless it goes stupid high like totally like maybe like totally near 47-48. Lean over.

Tough one to call - both teams to not give us a lot of confidence right now...SC looked at bit better with Nunez at QB he passed for 184 ran for 123....Problem is that he accounted for 123/216 of the rushing yards - with the injuries on OL and at RB - not sure they will be able to go on the road and win with a young qb with potential and one great WR....One the flipside - Mizz really struggling on offense still - ranked ranked highly but have not really been tested by a strong offense yet still think they are solid tho.....Fans starting to ask for more of the true FR Drew Lock who looked good in very limited play last week his arm is like a bazooka but more powerful - We must say tho - we do not like to be Covers Talent Evaluator guy but the dropped passes by the Mizz WR over the last 2 games what the SAM HILL is going on there? can nobody catch seems weird? But we digress....You would think this is a stone cold under and that might be the case - but if we hear later in the week that Lock gets more reps may look to the over if the total goes down even more.
Summary. No lean on side. No lean on total yet.

Nice post and point. It's tough to maintain intensity after being on the road vs two power conference teams (let alone OSU). I think you hit the nail on the head here, line is set on a flat/letdown spot vs CMU on the road. Hard to maintain the intensity after two close fought battles. That said, it's hard to bet against a team who literally could have won both @ OSU and BC.
Great thread again! Good to see rational thoughts presented on both sides on games. Rare these days around here...

Where to start with this one? We are not going to open the #gatesofhell on this one in an effort to keep things on topic - but we thought we were watching an NFL game with the mind boggling decision making / Let the other team come back for ratings sake...How you are up 12 in 4th Q and do not go for 2 to make it 28-14 is beyond me....Trying to run out the clock with turtling into the ground play calling with 3 minutes left is beyond us....Yes the Florida late TD was a bit surprising - but was it really? You give a team enough chances and Florida was hot - anything can happen....Very fun game really enjoyed the intensity now how will Tennessee respond after than Florida game?....Well it is a mini sandwich game with Georgia on deck...Their running game has been impressive Dobbs/Hurd just fun to watch and pretty much unstoppable....Still have not been able to MATRICULATE in the passing game - MEGALOCKS fun TIDBIT - nobody on the team has 100Y receiving after 4 games has to be a non-service-academy first this late in the season...Their pass D was a bit weak late vs Sooners and vs Florida Grier went nuts in the 4Q hard to fathom but it happened showed a lot of guts......Arkansas played almost a perfect game in our view - penalties just killed them - but we loved the game plan - played ball control - 232 rush 225 pass and made T AM one dimensional....Sadly they could not close the deal AGAIN late making them 0-11 last SEC road/neutral games and off a heartbreaker......SO ????
Arkansas has to give it another huge effort - they still have road games at bama at LSU at ole miss they are 1-3 now you do the math if they lose this game. Hard to see a bowl game in their future which is a shame should that happen.
Summary. No lean on side. Hard to know how either team will react off last wk and both teams would be happy to win by 1 do not really want to be laying 6 pts. Still looking at total.

Hey buddy. Tough read. Line appears to tell you Colorado covers it you believe it that mumbo jumbo - we kinda sorta do at times - the key being - not its a trap - BUT - what are we missing? To me - it is a) Oregon QB situation - does he have a broken finger? Does he HAVE all his fingers? it cant be good b) tackling is comical esp in back 7 c) Colorado can smell blood.....To me it is a no play but that is just our initial take....Who on earth thought this line would be 8 when researching in the summer ! love NCAA football. What a DANDY We are probably not the only people that have a major letdown on Sunday comparing NFL to these beauties SORRY no contest
For the record - we are typing this with our bright red GEORGIA hooded sweat on to neutralize the impact of our write-up.
This is not going to be overly revealing to you SEC experts but we are gonna give this game a shot.
Georgia: Pretty simple. Can they establish the running game consistently and use that success to MATRICULATE in the passing game. Lambert has not thrown an int yet and has done exactly what they had hoped so far. Detractors will say he could not win the job at Virginia - but you guys know what we think about the "coaching" at Virginia - so maybe - just maybe heaven forbid he is "good" ? Whatever the reality is - we are going to find out - the only decent D they have faced so far is Vandy and Lambert was ok. It is about time where you can at least somewhat look at the schedule and Georgia as we know has not faced the toughest of foes and their schedule is ranked #107 in difficulty. Huge step up in class vs a wounded opponent who is in a must win situation essentially.
Alabama: Done nothing wrong. Outside of giving the ball away like a hot grenade against Ole Miss. Plowed Wisconsin gave up 40 rushing yards and 268 total yards. Gave up 275Y to a good MTSU team in a sandwich spot. Ole Miss gets full marks for the win but Bama turned it over 5 times outgained Ole Miss but could not overcome their miscues...Then they allowed 93Y to ULM. Traditionally they have trouble on D with dynamic offenses particularly those who use tempo to their advantage and this just seems like an offense that Bama was built to stop. Great front 7 vs excellent OL and RBs. Non-mobile QB. Of course we are not crazy about their QB play yet but what we DO think is that they are gonna pound that run game with their beasts and see if the Georgia front 7 can hold up. Bama guys can comment - but the hot topic seems to be that stud recruit Bo Scarbrough is ready to go for this game after an ACL injury and 4-game suspension....We looked at some video and read some practice notes and imagine a musclebound statue built out of granite who can run around you or through you and has soft hands. Now we are somewhat kidding but we think that the Alabama game plan is going to be very interesting to see with potentially Henry and Drake and Bo in there. Howard is a stud. Nothing against Ga but this is going to be such a tough test for them to get pounded for 60 minutes not sure they can hold up....To be fair - we might still have that Florida game in our heads from last yr when Florida ran the same play 70 times in a row for 12,000 yards rushing.
Added bonus: Bama has not been an underdog since 2009 over 70 games an NCAA record we believe. Yes we think that matters. Can be the hunter. Also - say what you want - Georgia is all out to win BUT a loss does not kill them. A bit more urgency for Bama.
Summary. Strong lean to Bama. Gonna see if we can get +3 so have not played it yet. Total is rising - we actually think that is the wrong play even though Numbers Guy loves the over - this is a different matchup sense a potential SNOT BUBBLER with lots of running but not 100% sure like the side better.
