Boy oh boy what a grease fire in Fresno - Just looking at the results or reading the local stuff - this team is just in a world of hurt - have not covered an FBS game all year.....Hurting at the QB spot....125 rank in offense and 107 in D....Have played some tough teams but UNLV should be able to win this one comfortably....Even with a "backup" QB starting - Palandech has showed some nice run/pass ability this year - and was a key to our 7425934795723489 star UPSET vs Nevada that changed the sports betting industry.....Hard to get our head around UNLV being a 7 pt fav in conf on the road - in fact - they have only been road favs 11 times the last 10 years (3-8) so not crazy about laying at TD but that seems like the only option here.

Summary - lean Fresno TT under. May make the final card - not sure yet.

New Mexico has rode the #147th ranked schedule to a 3-3 start and if they win this one - have a great shot at making their first bowl game since 2007....FWIW - we are talking about the #138 ranked football team (New Mexico) vs #133 (Hawaii) according to our pal Sagarin so no bettor should be surprised by any outcome.....New Mexico appears to be a popular pick and we really cannot argue never bad to go with the team that is going to dominate in the running game and that is NM....They have almost zero ability to MATRICULATE in the passing game but should easily put up 300+ rushing yards and own time of possession....Hawaii has one road win since 2011  and as we pointed out MANY weeks ago to alert SUBSCRIBERS....their travel schedule has been brutal already and are on track to travel the equivalent of 2 round trips to Mars #MattDamon.....Hawaii has done nothing to show us that they can do anything other than tank on the road but to be fair they have played at Boise ...at Ohio St...at Wisconsin this yr and we would argue that even Alabama would have a hard time winning all 3 of those games.....Hawaii has 5 str losses to NM all by DD.

Summary....lean NM. Lean over.......This game will not make the official card.

Just to bring everyone up to speed on the week that was with North Texas - they set a record - BIGGEST SLAUGHTER FCS team over an FBS team - lost to Portland St 66-7 at home scoring in the final minute to avoid the shutout ........Our fav part of this story ??? NORTH TEXAS PAID $425,000 TO PORTLAND ST TO GET THEIR TEETH KICKED IN.......Never like to hammer on a team when they are at their low point but HOLY SCHNIKEES that was crazy - even tho PS was a small fav in the game......

So NT fires their HC. Starting a new QB this wk. But they get the JUGGERNAUT WKU squad coming to town who has done nothing the last 3 games other than score 56 49 58 while covering the vegas line by a combined 75+ points in the process ....Great example of a team overcoming killer injury - lose all world RB L Allen ? Have not missed a beat.....They can name their score even on the road in this one.....NT should have some early adrenaline with the coaching change - it is typical but not a 100% certainty - so that alone makes us question laying almost 5 TDs.

Summary. Going to pass on this one. N Texas is ranked slightly ahead of something called Sacred Heart in the Sagarin ratings so no score would surprise us just cant lay this many points and respect ourselves in the morning.
