let's remember that Maryland got out to a huge lead in that game and when Cal woke up they came storming back and showed they were ultimately the better team... just buried themselves too deep...
Cal's defense will shut them down... if Maryland can't score 17 points they won't be able to cover...

Ice, I see NCSU is on the consensus list. Liked the play ALOT early. The more I look, the more advantage I see for SC. Listened to Spurriers radio show on the way home tonite. He has that smug attitude that he used to have at Fla. I think he's sandbagging a bit this year. For what he lost, this D should be in shambles, but he keeps talking about Leadership and he has 4 freshmen that he likes alot. Have you ever changed sides of a bet like this and would you feel comfortable going against a consensus of the top cappers? I'd consider SC a small play right now if Festo's list wasn't against it.

I agree, probably a no play, just wanted to get Ice's take on my position. He has a very unique way of seeing things. I really appreciate his perspective.

but that's not all... all 9 of the games that did cover beat the spread by AT LEAST 10 points... every one!

yea Cherokee... what made it worse is all the other games were in the bag, and i really wanted that 10-0... even after all the shitty play by Tennessee, they still could have covered if they had been able to extend it one more possession in OT... bastards!

rg... i honestly never completed calculating the exact record through the end of bowl games... i can only tell you i was just under 65% and finished the year up 33 units... which may look good, but at one point i was up over 50 units, and dropped all the way down to +25 units before the bowl games... so i do not look at last year as a very successful outing...
closing out this thread... i made a new thread, since this one is getting too long...
