Imagine what would happen if Chauvins acquitted ?
Well Minneapolis already settled with the Floyd family for 27 million
. They will be ok.
As for the city well either way they gonna riot.
Be like Vikings won the super bowl scene or another round of blmers chanting no peace no justice

leaving you uneasy
Speaking of the Reasons they Need to be Freed from the thievery
Television cameras and the City News
all up in your living room
you were just sitting sipping brews
now you’re the idiot that had this did to him in a miserable mood
Look , anyone that takes a life , There’s Hell to pay
but stay selfish forget brave
Better to check your HeadSpace
and Please don’t Forget
when Shitt gets Crazy and Wild
it was I that Told Ya
Youre gonna be tryin to Stay Alive like you was John Travolta......

What is that noise
Staying alive is only mind.
Pretty easy to one who knows he can not die.
The body a small vessel the spirit was only temporary stored scooped up and repoured.
Past present future is tommorow the others yesterday what can I say.
Do little phrase reports of my demise is always greatly exaggerated. Why did i have choice or.you.
No more than Jonah or Job. Or any othwr crazy prophet new or old. Simply a doll to dress up and show about. But the maker of dolls has his own mood.
What revealed nothing soon.

Not going to happen. He will never be in GP. He is no doubt in PC and will stay there. Nobody getting close to Chauvin. His own private living hell. No sleep. No drugs to help sleep. He's fukked.

"Pinky" Floyd was trippin' and calling for his Mother because he knew he was dying with fentynal and major heart blockage.He was crying he couldn't breathe in his car before police did anything.This cop needs 1 honest man and he'll skate like Hamel.

Just seeing that video of Mr. Floyd being put in the back of the SUV and Screaming..I'm Closetrophic over and over again and hand cuffed. i know that feeling.
Policeman don't care about your medical condition or what meds your on when they're arresting you Depending on the crime. c'mon man. he only bought a pack of cigs with the fake $20 bill. I have more to say but it's dinner time

Come from a family of police officers. Do I think Chauvin killed Floyd? No, Mr. Floyd swallowed evidence, spit some of it out in back seat of police car, had 3x lethal amount in his system. Do I think Chauvin should be acquitted? Hell no! This cop an absolute dick! No reason to sit on that man's neck except to get a rise out of bystanders. If no witnesses and no video being taken I bet he doesn't put knee on that neck for 9 minutes. He enjoyed pissing people off, you see it in his eyes. Could he of cutoff blood flow, yep could be, hard to prove.
Bottom line is this; This dickhead cop had what was reported as 17 times investigated by internal affairs! 17 times? and he only was disiplined once???? Then you find out nearly 800 misconduct complaints filed since 2016 have not been pursued by MPD. So it's more than just this bad apple. He shouldn't even be on the streets! I feel sorry for those two rookies, one who asked "shouldn't we turn him over", Chauvin was the senior cop now these two get charged too.
So the police chief? nothing happens to him even though HE IS IN CHARGE, 800 complaints not investigated, cop investigated by IA 17 times, there is a big problem there!!
It'll be guilty, what count we will see.

Let me be clear, I belive Chauvin contributed to the death and therefore is guilty. A totally inhumane act no matter what actually was the primary factor of death.

The two highlighted portions do not make sense. Of course, he didn't kill the guy. The evidence proves this completely with the autopsy. So, why should he not be acquitted? He is charged with murder -- not for being a jerk.
Even that would be something that needs to be looked at. Just because people that have interactions with cops file complaints does not mean those people are upstanding folks. Most folks that have these types of interactions with cops are already unruly and feel 'wronged' by a cop even questioning them. These type of people, often intentionally, provoke cops. The polite, mannerly person stopped for speeding is not filing a complaint. I have no idea of the validity of the complaints nor the circumstances. I have not seen these in detail. I doubt many of these folks saying this have seen them. But IA usually do a very good job on these in most PDs.
I know there are bully, belligerent cops. I am just saying that he is not charged with that.

Someone running around the corner and yelling, 'Boo!' could have done the same thing to him. Walking up a flight of stairs could have done it. Excitement over his team winning or losing could have done it. Struggling with cops trying to arrest you could do it as well.

I understand where your coming from. You make excellent points. But were talking "human nature" not absolute truth without bias. Worlds not perfect. The jury is human.
What he did was be a real dickhead. IMO, he did it because onlookers and video was rolling-that's my take. Did he think Floyd would die? Nope. To him just another crazy drugged up/f-upped junky. I know cops get tired of fighting with drugged up idiots but they have to remain professional. He didn't. So I believe he will be convicted and I won't have much remorse if he is. Really guilty or not? I can't say. How hard was that knee pushing I don't know. What I do know is even the rookie cops got concerned, as they should have, Floyd wasn't struggling, no need for excessive force, yet he continued. (with a smirk look)
Maybe I'm wrong. Just can't see him walking away from this.
From the Star Tribune;
In order to convict Chauvin of second-degree manslaughter, prosecutors will need to show beyond a reasonable doubt that he was "culpably negligent" and took an "unreasonable risk" with Floyd's life when he restrained him and that his actions put Floyd at risk of death or great harm. Prosecutors do not have to prove that Chauvin's actions intended to cause Floyd's death, only that his actions put Floyd at risk of death or great bodily harm. This charge carries a presumptive sentence of 41-57 months.
I can't see Chauvin getting past the above, even with the leathal dose in Floyd's bloodstream. "So do I think Chauvin killed Floyd? No."
Was he negligent? Did he take unreasonable risk? YES. Did his actions put Floyd at risk of death or great harm? Beyond a reasonable doubt, that's the question. But the "human" factor of the jury may say yes.

@Raiders22
So if I point a gun at someone and they immediately have a heart attack and die, I'm not liable. Where'd you go to law school?

West coast is enough detail.
Depends completely on a few things -- like in tort law, we would call this: "the tortfeasor takes his victim as he finds him." The "eggshell skull" doctrine could also apply.
But it would be dicey to get an outright murder conviction. For example, some time back we had a guy break in and surprised a very old lady watching TV. The DA went straight for murder in that case. However, the issue is intent. Did the guy 'simply' want to rob the place, or did he intend to kill her. For sure, you are charged with something and the estate or family can have a case against you. But outright murder is hard.
My point is simply that the guy did not intend murder. Did he contribute? Not really -- just doing his job, albeit, very forcefully and unnecessarily overly physical. The autopsy certainly seems to prove that his actions did not kill the guy. The perp's actions, along with the drugs, did it. He should not have struggled with the cops or done something to get arrested over and cause him to get excited that he might go to prison.
Was/is the cop a jerk? It sure seems so. But, alas, he is not charged with that. I feel he was over-charged for political reasons. That is my point. I could very easily not have enough information on this case. But the same could be said for everyone that is assuming he is guilty of murder.

@Raiders22
Let me ask you this, if a knee is not placed upon his neck for almost 9 friggin minutes would he still be alive? Or would he have just arbitrarily died as a result of simply being arrested?

He clearly contributed to the death of Floyd . Just because George was not an exemplary citizen doesn't excuse clear liability that contributed to a man dying. Sick of people saying he was a drug addict and that's why he died.

@mrusso
This is the part I think is hard to overcome to get this conviction:
It includes this section:
No neck trauma, no petechiae. Their absence is not definitive proof that Floyd did not die of strangulation, but given that they are associated with that cause of death (and not e.g. asphyxia from respiratory depression), in a probabilistic sense it certainly becomes less likely. Also this:
No sign of strangulation on dissection either. If George Floyd died from mechanical asphyxia from the knee to his neck, it has no corroboration from the state’s autopsy. In fact, an internal memo based on a conversation with the medical examiner contained the following:

"E. Incision and subcutaneous dissection of posterior and lateral neck, shoulders, back, flanks, and buttocks negative for occult trauma"
In short: No bloodshot eyes and no trauma to any part of Floyd's neck.
