You can't even say they're metaphors though.  Either everything is true, or not.  I don't understand how it can be ok to pick and choose what is true...  I don't think god would fuck up the bible and put only some truth in there...

U are mistaken. Of course there are stories Christians have that are far fetched. That is where faith comes in. 

I'm not saying you are stupid for being atheist and I'm not forcing you to believe in God. 

All I'm saying is you are punching holes in a story you cannot back up. All your theories have holes themselves. Hard to argue with anything when your story can't be backed up. 

You say  you will wait for scientists to figure it out and say I have faith 

And what about Goliaths bowl being found in the Palestinian city? What about the cave paintings in Africa? Scientists said it would have been impossible to have an eclipse at that point. Anyone?

Christians in Africa (an aids riden nation) are missioning and telling people not to wear condoms...

Christians across the country are trying to take away homosexuals rights....

So on one hand i get told to diffeentiate between taking things literally and metaphorically, but when it comes to the bible, i am not allowed to....

It is states in the bible that one should cut off their right hand if it causes you to sin, do you think God wants everyone to walk around with no right hand?

The proble i am having with you is, that you dont seem to understand the implications of the odds of life starting by chance...

You mention infinite past, cant you get it through your THICK HEAD that we dont have an INFINITE PAST.

Once you understand that, maybe then we can go further, yet you keep on refering to infinite pasts even though you are breaking mathematical and scientific laws when you do so....

Can you accept we dont have an infinite past?

in some cultures they take it literally, not so funny to them

that's why it is a problem, who's to say...

2. Would there be children being born with Aids?

3. Would the abortion rate drop?

Just answer these?

Look what happened when they took the bible and prayers out of school in 1963.  That bar graph will amaze you. Crime, theft, rape, divorce, abortion, murder.  Everything spiked from 200% to 800% increase across the board immediately.  Hmmmm, crazy.

In reference to life on other planets, wouldn't you say it would be wise to believe in something that has a probability of close to 100%??

I have never once said that I need proof of anything, but I would like some substantial evidence.
