That is why we blame serial killers and not homosexuals. Just because something is not your own personal choice, doesn't mean you can't be held accountable for it-we agree on that. The bottom line is if that thing that you cannot control is greatly detrimental to society, then we as a society need to deter people from doing it. Why should we deter homosexuals from being gay? As long they're far away from my ass (pun intended) who are they bothering?
because their god supposedly "said" it was a sin, so there's no thinking after that...

It appears though, that even the "non-Christians" are condemning people because we're flawed and not "Christ-like" enough for your standards.
All I know is that there was only one perfect person to walk this earth, and it wasn't me, not by a long shot.
What I don't understand is, why do you call me a sinner because I gamble? If you don't believe the Bible, then the word "Sin" shouldn't be in your vocabulary. Should it?

We are not saying that society should punish homosexuals, where have we been saying that? I surely haven't been saying that. You talk about the stupidity is astounding...well yeah in your case it is...lol
What we have been saying is that practicing homosexuality is a sin, in Leviticus 18:22 God said, "Do not practice homosexuality, having sex with another man as with a woman. It is a detestable sin."
We also have been saying that homosexuals chose to live that sinful lifestyle and they weren't born that way or created to be homosexuals.
Nothing at all was said that our society today should punish them. But of course if law enforcement catches serial killers they should indeed be punished by society.
So Kittykat before you make any statements, understand what the arguments are before you open that yap of yours...Akay?...lol

I don't care if it's a sin or not, that's not my issue. If you wanna say it's a sin because a book told you it is, fine by me. My problem is that you think they choose to do it. It can still be a sin by your definitions the same way murder is a sin, but that doesn't mean it isn't natural and beyond a homosexual's control.

Also to continue where I left off, I know a lot of people misinterpret the bible, especially those who are atheists and never had any kind of bible study classes and so when they read something right off the bat they misinterpret what they are reading.
For example in Leviticus 20:13, God said, "If a man practices homosexuality, having sex with a man as with a woman, both men have committed a detestable act. They must both be put to death, for they are guilty of a capital offense."
The above passage in the bible is not telling you or anyone else to kill gays today but rather during the time of Moses in the Old Testament there were punishments for disobedience.
The Lord spoke directly to Moses and said, "Give the people of Israel these instructions, which apply both to native Israelites and to the foreigners living in Israel. ---Leviticus 20:2
So those punishments applied to native Israelites and foreigners living in Israel during those times of Moses.
So those instructions are not for us today to carryout. Anybody who carries it out today will be committing a capital offense, which in some states leads to the death penalty.
So again I have never said that people who practice homosexuality should be punish by our society today. Come Judgment Day God will do the rewarding or punishing of people who deserves them.

System - you won't get an answer because they don't have an answer. The things that bother them they say only applied in the old days. The things that still make sense now apply now. There's not rhyme or reason to it. Regardless of whether god exists (because like I said, I will no longer participate in those discussions), the Christian Bible is the biggest book of bullshit ever written. At least nowadays, fictional writers don't try to pass along their books as true stories.
