I didn't say you were perfect, I'm just saying you don't seem to practice what you preach. Go out, and give yourself to others. Energy can't be destroyed only transformed. I'm not going to spend time "proving" to you the existence of energy. I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt and assume you have a modicum of intelligence to figure this out. Connect the dots and you might be shocked where it leads you but of course this is where the cowardice of it all comes in. One of the things about atheists I have found is that no matter what you say, do or show them all it does is create more questions because it's easier to keep hiding behind the lie than it is to face THE TRUTH. Grow a pair KittyKatz and step from behind the veil friend.

I don't understand why you keep calling me a coward. I have not demonstrated to be afraid of anything. Your lack of understanding is astounding. I know we are made up of energy. Your entire response added nothing to your previous post. I am no more knowledgable about the existence of this fictional spirit as I was before.

Please stop telling us god exists because you believe it.  There can't be an argument worse than that.  You say you don't need any evidence, fine.  That is just such a stupid way to live.  I don't go and believe in claims that have no merit because I'm not stupid.  I want a god to exist, but I hope it's not the christian god, because he is an asshole.  I can't fathom an all loving and forgiving god sending me to hell for using the logical brain he gave me.  If he would send me to hell for that then good.  Fuck him, I don't wanna be around an asshole like that.  Satan is probably cooler anyway...

Yeah this entire discussion has centered around whether god exists. We have barely touched upon the fact that even if we were to grant that the universe had an initial creator, it is extremely unlikely that it's the christian god or that it's any god that actually still intervenes in the life of humans.

 I said earlier that I know for a fact that there is life on other planets. How do I know this? Well I once saw a UFO and I couldn't believe it. I was with another person and we both saw it appear out of thin air and disappear. I couldn't explain it to you on a scientific level just tell you what I saw. What made it more real to me was a couple of other friends saw the same thing on the other side of town at the same time. Now it doesn't matter to me how people explain what we saw. It was this it was that. I know what I saw and I am secure with it. It doesn't threatened me in the least bit. On the contrary it just tells me like the Bible says that everything isn't revealed to us and that there are things that we don't have knowledge of but it doesn't mean it doesn't exist. (Translation: I believe that the Bible is the Truth and that it contains everything we need to know. That said, me and some of my backwoods friends saw a strange light which obviously was a UFO and because of this the Bible doesn't contain everything we need to know and doesn't have all the Truth)

Also God reveals himself/herself to you everyday but you don't have eyes to see because you're caught up in your own ego and your carnal mind. Your carnal mind wants God to materialize and come introduce himself to you. Why does God need to that for YOU. You are his creation. He doesn't need to prove anything to you. You are here to prove to him and to be reminded of that which you really are. (This is all useless... contributes nothing)

You deny everything that is unseen and that is the real world. Before anything becomes materialized it all starts with a thought. That thought is like an unborn child. The thought is born when it takes material form. That is Universal Law. But you're so caught up with yourselves and  your ego that you have ignored the most powerful tool in the Universe. Those tools are your spirit and your mind. Learn to think on a different level. Learn to think on a cosmic level. That is where God will meet you. In depths of your spirit, your heart and your soul. God loves you and wants to be in your life. Not just as some sort of hell and damnation but as a Father to a child to guide you and give you wisdom. Oh yes God is real and he is in each and every one of us but he isn't pushy. He knocks oh so gently. He is persistent and he is there waiting patiently for you to wake up and start your journey home. You don't have to die to go to heaven. Jesus said the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand. God loves you. Put aside your ego and trust in your inner heart. That deep voice that speaks to you. The reason you come on this thread day after day seeking answers. I know its rough. Questioning is there a God. How come this?  How come that? God gave us free will but he has Universal Law/Cause and Effect/Karma. As a man soweth so shall he reap. This is his equalizer. Universal Law is the stable force of the Universe. This is why true evil is dealt with on this level. God loves you and wants you to turn to him. Put aside your atheist thoughts for just a moment and reach out to him in your own way. Don't take my word for it. Reach out and ask for God to show you a sign. I guarantee if you come to God with a pure heart and ask him to reveal himself to you he will. He will reveal himself to you in a way that is personal to you and only you would understand. That is how God operates. He wont be on CNN, FOX or MSNBC. But he will reveal himself to you if truly ask him to. If you have the courage of your conviction I invite you to do that. You don't have to tell us what happened but you will see a slow change in your life and your thoughts will turn to him. Instead of rejecting God he will turn you into a soldier for him. God bless and may you find the peace that you seek in the ONE that created us all. Amen (That's funny... I could've SWORN you said you don't come on to this thread to try to convince people of anything... peculiar that I should read this body of text so completely overflowing with Christian bullshit that I think there's a stench coming from my computer monitor)

How do you know i dont give to others? How?

What is the difference between going out and buying a very expensive shirt or having a bet on a game? Or going out to a very expensive dinner or having a bet on a game?

Where does it say in the bible that gambling is a sin? The bible simply warns of the dangers of gambling, that is the differemce.

Like we've been saying. This doesn't mean your god exists. This is your ONLY argument and you keep making it no matter how many times it fails.

Did i go and observe by experiment and science that the universe is expadning and came from a point of singulairty?

This is the view from cosmology that the universe began to exist, the rest is from philosophy. You dont even need to tap into philosoply to know that things that begin to exist have a cause.

No one can break down this argument, but i thought science eliminates God?

No, you're not entirely right. The Gospels in the New Testament are not opinions from the authors but rather they represent first-hand witness accounts.

They are testimonies depitcting the life and ministry of Jesus Christ. This is how we get all the quotes coming from Jesus as noted in their writings by these first-hand witnesses.

So these Gospels can't be catergorized as opinions from the authors. So its a form of evidence based on personal experiences.

Additionally, outside the Bible, Jesus is also mentioned by his near-contemporaries. Extra-Biblical and secular writers (many hostile) point to Jesus' existence, including the Roman writings of Tacitus, Seutonius, Thallus and Pliny, and the Jewish writings of Josephus and the Talmud. Biblical archaeological are not opinions but rather its the scientific study of the life and cultures of ancient peoples, as by excavation of ancient cities, relics, artifacts, etc.

The fascinating study has furnished background material for illustrating, illuminating and in many cases authenticating of the message and meaning of the Old and New Testament Scriptures. Archaeologists studying ancient civilizations by uncovering ruins and examining artifacts, are with increasing success confirming the accuracy of the Biblical texts.

Scientific discoveries like the big bang supports the claim that the universe had a beginning, likewise the second law of thermodynamics also supports this claim and so we know that the universe had a beginning.

So either the universe was popped into existence from nothing with absolutely no cause or the universe was caused to exist by something outside it. In chapter one of Genesis of the Holy Bible we read that "In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth"

So your argument in stating that my evidences are soley based on opinions is not a totally accurate one. Philosophical reasons are basicly opinions so you are right in regards to it being opinions.

So there are evidences outside of the bible, you have to do your research and seek them and don't just come to this thread thinking oneday somebody is going to hand over to you the concrete proof you seek...stop being foolish and start being realistic!

Either Christianity is correct and all other religions are false or Christianity is false and other religions are correct but not exclusively.

There is very good evidence to show that Christianity is true.

The historicity of Christ is one.
